Introduction
The report provides a brief view of the personal SWOT analysis and comments of fitness of my
nature towards the company and its role in which I am employed. The report provides
information about the use of naturally occurring data(s) for the making of the project. Further,
the report also reviews the personal strengths and weaknesses along with the feedback shared by
different people during the course of attaining a qualified job. The report provides details about
my enrollment in Apple Company, it explains whether I am placed properly or misplaced in the
organization.
Further, the latter part of the report also discusses about the self-improvement for my continuous
growth and improvement in an effective manner. The personal SWOT analysis helps a person to
analyze their skill, capabilities along with the areas where they are lacking behind. This also
helps the person in knowing their factors that are lacking behind in their personality and they can
improve them by the help of this this analysis. Further, this analysis gives a view to the person
that whether they are fit for that job or not (Phadermrod, Crowder, and Wills 2016). This
evaluation will adequately place them at the right position in the company. More details about
the report are discussed below:
Company Profile and Role
Apple Inc. is a large scale multinational organization that deals in providing software and
hardware products and services to people worldwide. The company was originated by Steve Jobs
and two other founders on 1st April, 1976. The company is famous for providing hi-tech
innovative provides and services to people. Further, the organization is adequately exceling on
the top most position in the industry. The most popular product of the company is Apple iphone;
there is high demand of this product in the market. Further the vision of Apple Inc. is “Man is the
creator of change in this world. As such he should be above systems and structures, and not
subordinate to them (Dudovskiy 2017).”

Naturally Occurring Data
In the company Apple Inc. I am expecting to join the position of Marketing Executive where my
communication skills will effective help me to understand the concept and communicate with
customers and co-workers of the organization. Having effective communication skills are one of
the most important requirement of the marketing field job (Brown 2014). Further, it should be
noted that I have used three naturally occurring data for preparing the report. These three
naturally occurring data are conversation with different people, emails and corporate artefacts.
All the three sources adequately helped to gain resourceful information from the authentic people
and sources that helped in preparing the report (Rangkuti 2015).
Conversations were used in such a way that it helped in communicating with different people.
This communication somehow helped me improving my skills implying them in my current
professional objectives (Duffy 2017). Apart from that, with the help of effective communication
I adequately contacted different people who can help me in gaining information about my own
personality traits that can help in future prospects of professional life. Conversation with
different people also motivated me in changing my behavior and analyzing the opportunities that
I have in my professional life. Apart from that, the conversation process was adequately initiated
with the use of emails and inquiries (Vedung 2017). By enquiring through emails, I received
many more information that helped me in gaining information to complete the report
requirements. Emails are the best way that helps a person to formally communicate to other
dignitaries of the organization and receive optimum information from them. Corporate artefacts
also helped in gaining information about the business environment of the company. The
corporate artefacts include the norms, beliefs and behavior of the organization and people of
company. This information helped in knowing my position in the company and whether I would
sustain in the company or not (Brown 2014).
Strengths:
 As according to the myers-briggs personality indicator I am an extrovert so I perfectly
handle many clients at a time in the market (16 Personalities., 2018)
 Quick in adapting things and good in vocabulary as well
 Gained expertise in selling different products offered by company to the customers in the
market (Marchington, et. al., 2016)

 Convincing the customers about the products and services offered by the company.
 Competencies in using information technology to gain information about the clients
 Properly understand the expectations of the organization from the company (Gandini
2016).
Weakness:
 Easily gets distracted from tempting activities present in the external market
 High theoretical knowledge but less practical knowledge and experience of this field
(Ingram, et. al., 2015).
 New in the organization makes it difficult to dissolve in the activities
 Tiresome field work reduces the efficiency to concentrate on other activities (Olins
2017).
Opportunities:
 Good communication skills increase the scope to contact more people and make relations
with them (Van den Berghe, et. al., 2014).
 Easily targets people from native place can communicate easily in native language
(Knott, and Scragg 2016).
Threats:
 Experience of small scale organization does not help in the activities of Apple Inc.
 The superiors are not efficient enough to address the problems of the employees properly
 Tough field work induces major challenges in completion of the personal targets (Vohs,
and Baumeister 2016).
According to the personal SWOT analysis initiated, I came to know that my personality skills are
different that cannot be compared with the efficiencies of any other person present in the
organization. Further, due to my strengths, I gained differential opportunities to grab in the
market. Apart from opportunities, there are different kinds of threats present in the market and if
they align with my weakness then I can face might difficulties in my future life. Although at the
current stage according to locus of point test, internal locus of control that states that I can
achieve everything by effectively using my skills and capabilities so I can work effectively in the

Apple Inc. but in future I can face many problems due to lack of proficient experience in the
similar company (Psych 2018). I have good experience of this field but it is worthless as my
experience is of a small scale organization. But I also know this thing that with the help of my
strengths I can easily conquer the best position in the organization without putting too many
efforts. As discussed above, I have problem of getting distracted at times that reduces many
consistency and flow towards, but I know this thing as well that once I get focused towards a
certain target then no barrier can hinder my focus from completing the task. I possess the tactical
ability (according to learning style inventory test) to effectively communicate with other team
members of the company and bind them together so that the objective of the organization is
effectively achieved. I am a kind of person who does not believe in achieving success alone.
Instead I get happier when my whole team accomplishes their individual as well as collective
targets. Thus, can say that I have a helping nature, and his aspect can specifically help me in
growing in diverse environment. As my superiors will see that I believe in team work and
moving forward together, so they will subsequently promote me to higher position in the
organization. In short, I have the capability to prove myself and be responsible while working
(Katz, Eilot, and Nevo 2014).
Currently I will be assigned on the lower position than a manager of the company but I have the
goal to become on reputable position of the company from where I can help my subordinates and
motivate them to accomplish the objective of the company as well. For this purpose, I need to
adequately address the opportunities present in the market and polish my strengths so that I can
gain competitive advantage in the market (Education planners 2018). Along with this, I need to
work on my weaknesses and improve them so that no person in the organization can point out a
finger at me and save me from the threats. This can happen if I properly concentrate on my
objectives and complete the targets given to me. Thus, in this way I can effective use my
personal SWOT plan and gain appreciation by the management of Apple Inc. for my work
(Wehmeyer, and Shogren 2016).
Lastly, I can easily fit in the company properly and it will also help me in managing different
tasks more effectively. This will help me to use my communication skills and effectively
communicate with the customers and solve their issues. As I have more theoretical knowledge so

I should imply it in activities of the company and gain practical workplace knowledge as well.
Thus, in this way I will grow effectively and sustain my position in the company Apple Inc.
Critical Review of my placement in Apple Company (Organizational
assessment)
The company Apple is diversified in its field and the company has divisional organizational
structure. This structure of the company states that the employees of the company are divided
into groups who are monitored by their separate team leaders. There are different groups of
marketing, accounting, operations etc. Looking at the cultural artefacts, it is assumed the
environment of the company is flexible for people and very innovative as well. The company
promotes expatriates in the company and welcome people who belong to different culture. This
aspect helps the company to grow in international market as they accept all types of cultures. The
ethics of the company states that they are committed to their employees for providing good
working environment to them and treat all the employees with dignity and respect irrespective of
the designation or the post that they hold in the organization. As discussed above that the
company has divisional organizational structure that decentralizes and centralizes the activities
of the company. Further, the culture of the Apple Inc. is very flexible at promotes learning and
innovation of employees. The company trains the employees to use technology in their activities
and create effectiveness.
Looking at the position of the company in the market, it should be noted that this company will
help me begin my professional career with a kick start. Further, the position in marketing field
that I am expecting will help me to evaluate diverse market conditions and become competent.
This company will adequate support in polishing my personality and become an efficient
employee of the organization.
Discussion of self-improvement for continuous kind of improvement
(Feedback)
According to feedbacks given by different people, I realized that I am best fit in the job of
marketing. All the above mentioned three test gave a view that I am an extrovert, tactical and
communicative person who can easily convince people. So, I am best fit for this job. Further,

talking about the organization, it should be noted that I need a big platform to outshine my
capabilities relating to which Apple is large scale organization whose activities are diversified
worldwide. This company will provide an adequate platform to outshine my strengths and it will
also provide me scope to grow and succeed. Thus, the feedback provided was positive in this
case. Further, I should improve myself by continuously setting up targets and accomplishing
them on time.
According to the feedback given by different people to me, it is concluded that yes I am fit for
the organization. While having discussion with my mentors, peers and teachers, I realized that
they are positive about my job in Apple. All of them believes that this can help me to grow in my
professional career and excel in life.
Conclusion
Thus, in the limelight of above mentioned events, it should be noted that the paper analyses my
actual capacity to effectively work in the organization. It talks about my personal SWOT
analysis that explains my personal strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats and how I work
in an organization. Further, effective communication can subsequently help me in managing
work and conflicts as well. Communication is the key to grow in the organization and as I am
from marketing background so it will help me in managing work and effectively resolving
