Functions of Management Approaches to manage different operations
Manager of different business firm use different approach of management in
order to accomplish different types of functions which help them to accomplish goals and
objectives of business firm (Alosaimy, Santo and Fanikos, 2017). Manager of organisation
implement four management function which help to regulate their employee to deliver better
quality of service to its loyal customers . Organisation deals to provide cleaning service to homes
of customers. Manager of organisation uses four functions of management in order to maintain
effectiveness in performing different types of operation in organisation. Four functions of
management approach are like planning,organizing, leading and controlling.
Planning: It is function of management which is concerned about the setting aims and
objectives and prepare proper plan to attain these objective. Manager of organisation should
implement different plan in order to provide cleaning facilities to its customer as per their
demand (Bello and Yedavilli, International Business Machines Corp, 2015). It consists of
different steps such as Strategic planning, Tactical planning, operational planning, these planning
methods helps to manage different types of operation in organisation. Role of these methods are
describe below:
Strategic planning: This method of planning concerned on to determine various opportunities
threats which help to make long term relationship to customer. By provide services to customer
in stipulated time period.
Tactical planning: This methods is designed for performing different cleaning facilities in
systematic manner by which manager can regulate its members of staff in proper manner. If
some unwanted thing happens or delay in services then manager can implement this planning I
order to perform different cleaning operation in different house.
Operational planning : This method is concerned on to perform different operation of business
firms . It helps in achieve goals and objectives of business
Organizing : It is most essential functions of management which help to maintain the structure
of organisation. So that all function of cleaning can be perform in systematic manner in
stipulated time period.
Leading: It helps in attaining goals and objectives of organisation. Manager can motivate its
employee effective leading which help to provide cleaning facilities to its customers. These

manger can appoints employee to take an order for cleaning house from customer and provide
facilities in stipulated time period (Bugge and Thune, 2016).
Controlling: This methods deals with determining performance of organisation as with as
performance of employee. It also help to control unwanted activities while performing different
types of operations at workplace. It help to measure customer satisfaction level.
TASK 2
Structure of business to attain goals and objectives
In order to attain goals and objectives of organisation. Management needs to implement
Matrix business structure which help to perform various types operations related to cleaning can
be accomplish in systematic manner. Employees working as per this structure they are
responsible for their head of department and also to upper level of management . In this
structure employees coordinate with each other in order to accomplish task in effective manner.
It also help in implementing new and innovative methods of cleaning process. The main
advantage of this structure is that employee have responsibility not only to their department
heads but also to senior manger of organisation (Donaldson, 2011).
Benefits of this organisation structure :
This organisation structure help to attain goals and objectives of organisation. It help
employees to perform their functions while cleaning house in effective manner. There are
department in order to perform different functions like managing calls from customer, gain
feedback from customer, performing different functions of cleaning in proper manner. All these
functions are accomplished under the guidance of senior authorities of department of
organisation (Hanna, Schito and Romero, 2016). There are different benefits of this structure
are given below:
Resource Coordination: This structure allows supervisors in order to coordinate different
employee who are involve in performing various operation. It also includes to hire new
employees, give proper training to employees which help to accomplish different types of
cleaning function in stipulated time period.
Specialization: It help to appoints skilled employees who are expert in cleaning different houses
in short period of time.

are related to cleaning (Miles, 2013). It give proper culture to organisation to maintain effective
environment. There are four types of culture which cleaning organisation follow are given
below:
Power: This is concerned with the distribution of power in different level of management. It
help to take effective decision making in order to manage different types of operations. In this
culture manger of cleaning organisation have power to assigned task to employee and employee
have to complete the task in stipulated time period. He can't deny orders of manger.
Task culture: In order to fulfil desire of customer and accomplish different task. Manager of
cleaning organisation make different team for different cleaning purposes. It help in
accomplishing different task in systematic manner (Muhanga, Zyuulu and Adam, 2014).
Person Culture: There are various organisation which suffers from this culture in this culture
employee come for sake of money rather they do not perform their responsibility in effective
manner. Manager should take initiative steps in order to control over such employees. Manger
should assigned task to complete in stipulated time period. It help in attaining goals and objective
of cleaning organisation.
Role culture: Employees who are working in cleaning organisation have play important role in
order to accomplish different cleaning activities. The role of manger is to conduct various

types of plan for integration of technology which help to determine the various conflict which is
arises at workplace. Without communicating with employees there are various strategies in order
to resolve those conflicts. Manager of cleaning organisation put its effort in order to know the
reason of conflicts and then resolve those conflicts in effective manner. It helps to accomplish
different task which is performed at workplace. There are four strategies of effective
communication which are given below in order to resolve conflicts which arises among
employees (Verma, Gupta and Isaac, 2012).
Listening to employee: Manager of organisation needs to listen views of employee in order to
determine different cause of conflict while performing different activities in organisation. Good
listening plays a significant role in order to solve conflict in effective manner.
Avoid remove barriers: There are various abbreviation and jargon and extremely technical
hinder effective communication. Manger of cleaning organisation helps to remove different
types of barriers in order to maintain coordination between the employee. It help to perform
different types of work activities in organisation. Manger gather the views of different working
employees to remove the barrier in order to perform different types of function in organisation.
