Analysis of the Management Contexts
As per my knowledge, I assume the fact that management is one of the wide topics
which will be capable of handling the different kinds of aspects successfully. While I was
assigned with a group project during the internship period in college, I was being made the
team leader and under me, there were four members who were performing. As a leader, I
understood that the communication is required in each and every step as it is the solution for
solving the different problems successfully. As the group was culturally diverse, the main
problem was there were differences in the opinions of one another as no one wad ready to
accept the other’s solutions and suggestions.
During the respective time, I was capable of understanding the fact that the
communication is considered to be one of the integral parts of the different projects or other
aspects which are needed to be performed. The management’s role is the critical element that
is needed to be adopted in a suitable manner as it will be increasing efficiency and growth of
organization and employees as a whole. As a leader, I tried to communicate efficiently and
made the people understand that to generate the successful outcomes, the unity in the team is
the critical element and at last everyone was somewhat convinced regarding the same and
they started working appropriately.
On the other instance, there was a scenario, wherein I was interning in a company, the
employees were demotivated as they felt that there was no such encouragement provided to
them. There was lack of motivation among the members, but the manager who was in charge
of the scenario, tried to implement the Maslow’s Hierarchy Theory and understood the
different needs of the employees separately as he felt that that employees are the asset
(Bonaccio et al., 2016). Basic needs of employees are needed to be analyzed as these are

critical part in organization and in such a short span of time, everyone was motivated and
they were ready to take different challenges (Logan, 2016).
While I was performing the tasks in the culturally diverse environment, conflict is the
common aspect that is required to be presented, however, through the usage of the
communication and negotiation, the scenario can be handled effectively. Firstly, as a leader, I
tried to understand the grievances of different members and it helped me in finding solutions
in a much easier manner. In an organizational context, the groups or the companies utilise the
power as well as politics for controlling the members and preserving themselves successfully.
Power is the dynamic aspect in the behaviour of the company and it can be completely
distinguished from authority as well as influence.
In the future prospects, there can be instances wherein there can be generation of
conflicts among the team members. Therefore, the conflicts need to be handled thoroughly
with effective communication and arranging different rewards and compensations techniques.
The motivation among employees is the vital aspect which needs to be developed for
generating successful outcomes.
