In order to perform particular roles in an organisation, management skills may be described as
certain qualities or abilities that an employee should possess. They provide the opportunity to
perform executive functions in an organisation while preventing circumstances of crisis and
addressing challenges promptly as they arise. By studying and realistic experience as a manager,
management skills can be established. The skills encourage the boss to communicate with his
fellow staff and learn how to work well with their subordinates, which helps the organization's
operations to flow smoothly. For any company to prosper and accomplish its goals and priorities,
strong management skills are essential. With less challenges and objections from internal and
external outlets, a boss who encourages strong organisational skills is willing to propel the
company's goal and strategy or strategic priorities forward. Management and management
capabilities are also used interchangeably, since these include planning, decision-making and
problem-solving.
As the manager of British Airways, it is important for me to decide the need of people
management effectively. This provides help in managing the work effectively and attaining
goals. There is need to have proper information about strategic goals that they are achieved
properly.
