Management skills can be describe as the skill of individual that support in effective
and efficient management of different task. There are various types of management skills
such as planning, decision making (Grissom, Loeb, and Mitani, 2015), communication,
problem solving, motivation and so on. All of these skills are necessary for conducting
organisational activities in effective manner. This report is based on Newham London
Council. This is considered as the London borough council which is one of the 32 in the
United Kingdom. This council as recently created its new Hub which is Artist Enterprise
Hub. This report will includes the significance of effective management skills that is
essential for accurate management of Hub. In this report, benefits of diversity has been
determined which has impact on managing issues of organisation related to people, culture,
business as well as management . Apart from this different theories are also determined that
is related to motivation, decision making as well as problem solving activities.
