INTRODUCTION
Since education is one of the most important as well as essential element in the current
scenario so the university that is Coventry which is established in the UK has got permission
from the Polish government to open up a campus in the city of Wroclaw (Bak, Jordan and
Midgley, 2018). In this report there is a brief discussion of the importance of skills that are
related with effective management within the Coventry University Wroclaw. Apart from this the
report also covers the essential requirement that is recognising as well as maintaining diversity in
the newly established campus in the Wroclaw city. Further there is a detailed analysis and
evaluation done on different management theories that are decision making, motivation, and
problem solving in this report.

1. Identification and detailed examination of effective management skills in Coventry University
of Wroclaw
As Coventry University is a university that was established in the year 1853 and is
operational since then and has made a mark in the sector of imparting quality education and thus
is regarded as one of the best university that is functional in the UK. Since it got the permission
to establish one of its campuses in Poland’s city of Wroclaw to impart education in that country
too so that the nation can grow in terms of literacy rate. There are many aspects that have to be
analysed in a detailed manner so that the establishment of university proves beneficial for the
owners as well as to the country and a major focus is put on effective management skills so that
it can add to the value of the firm in the industry. There are a number of skills that are related
with management that are explained briefly below with its importance given too with the context
of the university that is Coventry-
 Planning- It is the foremost step because it bridges the gap between the present that is the
current situation of it and the future that is the position that it is willing to capture in the
market. In it a plan is made so that all the activities can revolve around that plan only so
that it can prove beneficial for the firm in accomplishing the goals and objectives that are
laid down at the starting. As Coventry University must do planning before very step that
it takes as it is very important in sustainability.

 Communication- It is one of the most important aspect to establish an intact
communication between all the individuals that are directly or indirectly connected with
the University of Coventry so that it can build its campus in Wroclaw on strong grounds.
It can prove very beneficial and useful at the same time as it helps to build an
environment in which the university can grow and prosper in the long run as well as in
other country too in an effective and efficient manner (Borkett, 2018).
 Delegation- It is an essential element for Coventry University to delegate its authorities
as well as responsibilities so that all the efforts of it are directed towards the achievement
of a single goal. It is very important from the university’s point of view as it helps in
lowering the work load from a single person and makes each and everyone accountable
for their work which is one of the most important factor.
2. Analysing and evaluating the importance of maintaining as well as recognising diversity in the
newly formed campus
Since the Coventry University is operating in a completely different nation and as the people
and religion of that country is completely different from the one in which it is operating in the
current scenario so it becomes highly important for the university to maintain as well as
recognise diversity in an effective and efficient manner (Conway and Richards, 2017). There are
various areas in which diversity have to be achieved so that it can add to the value of the
university in the region in which it is planning to operate and all of them are explained below in
detail-
 People- As the university is planning to operate in a different environment and thus it
have to deal with different people and conditions that are prevailing in the city of
Wroclaw and Coventry University must work within the reach of everyone so that it can
help it in long sustainability in Poland. It is highly important to maintain diversity in this
area as it is related to this area only and as all the people have to be imparted quality
education that will help the citizens to grow as an individual that can serve the country in
the near future.
 Cultures- Since Coventry University has gotten the permission to operate in Poland and
the culture of that region is completely different from the one of the UK that is the
country in which the university is operating currently. As culture is a crucial aspect and it
has to operate according to the culture that is prevailing in that country so that people of

that nation can relate with it which can prove very beneficial for it in the long term. It is
of high importance to maintain diversity in this area as it can help the university to grow
as well as prosper in the market conditions that are prevailing there so that it can establish
its mark in the country that is Poland.
 Business and management- Since all the activities are directed towards the
accomplishment and achievement of the objectives and the set goals and thus
management plays a big role in that and both business and management goes hand in
hand. It is very important to maintain diversity in this area as it is regarded as a tool of
increasing the value of the market in a completely different country (Cook, 2018).
3. Detailed evaluation and examination of management theories regarding motivation, problem
solving, and decision making
There are a number of different management theories that are related with the working of the
organisation in an effective and efficient manner (Field, 2019). There are mostly three major
theories of management and all of them are described in detail below with the context of
Coventry University that got permission to set up its campus in the city of Wroclaw in Poland-
 Motivation- It is one of the most important as well as essential theory of management
that helps the individuals that are related with the organisation to work enthusiastically
and with zeal because of increased motivation level. If the level of motivation is high in a
university then it can have positive effects on its working that is it can be done within a
limited time frame with utmost effectiveness. This theory is very important for the
improvement of management in Coventry University of Wroclaw as it can substantially
help it in increasing the value of the university in the country.
 Decision making- As it is highly essential to make decisions according to the needs and
requirements of the enterprise so that it can lay a foundation stone for the improvement of
the organisation’s decisions that it take which are important in nature. This theory possess
a lot of value for Coventry University Wroclaw as it can reduce the time taken in
decisions and also effectiveness of it can be improved simultaneously and that too in a
drastic manner with the help of it.
 Problem solving- It is very crucial as well as critical at the same time for each and every
firm to have a problem solving ability so that it can remove all the barriers in the working
of the organisation. It is one of the most important theory for Coventry University of

Wroclaw as it can help it to solve the problems students are facing so that it can fill the
loop holes that are prevailing within the organisation by the way of rectification thus
helping the university to grow in long run (Martirano, 2016).
CONCLUSION
From the above it can be concluded that quality education is the most important aspect in the
current period and all the activities must be targeted in achieving that in an impactful manner.
Apart from that it can be concluded that Coventry University which is established mainly in the
UK that got permission to set up its campus in Poland’s city of Wroclaw have many advantages
as well as disadvantages as it is operating in a completely new region. Further it can be
concluded that there are different management skills, management theories, and diversity that
has to be maintained in order to be successful in the current scenario.
