An organisation is a group of people that operate together in the highly organised way for a
shared goal. (Cambridge, 2018)The organisation management gives an insight of direction to
their employees. The individuals are well aware of their roles and responsibilities and know
what they are need to do in the organisation. Effective management goal is profitable for the
organisation. An organisation management leads for the efficient approach of an organisation
as well as its employees.
Snap Inc. they are the founders of the famous "Snapchat" mobile app. They are one of the
quickest growing social media and camera companies in the world.
This assignment will be coving the history of Snap Inc. and its organisation structure as well
as the modern management approaches and organisation culture also strategic management
objectives.

Snap Inc. journey established around 2011 with the name Picaboo using IOS platform then
was renamed to Snapchat later on that year. By 2012 Snapchat chose to add their application
to android platform as well. In the mid-2016 Snapchat had around 150 million active users
daily. Snapchat is now one of the most used applications in the world and now Snap Inc. is
based in Venice, California. (Matthies & Parvin, 2016)
Snap Inc. operates in a camera industry and they believe in reinventing the camera to be
excellent opportunity to advance the way people communicate with each other. Snapchat is
one of the product Snap Inc. created it’s a camera application that is used to help people to
communicate visually with friends and family through short- videos and images.
Now Snapchat is already one of the most used cameras in the world’s. Snap Inc. revenue
2017 is 824.9 million USD. (Snap INC.A, 2017). According to, Mergent Online there is
1,859 employees that is recorded from 2016 of Snap Inc. (Matthies & Parvin, 2016)
