REFLECTIVE ESSAY
Being a student in management studies, carrying out respective report assessment
provided me with information and knowledge regarding the same. For instance, I was provided
with opportunity to implement my personal skills and efforts in gathering and analysing
information about strategic management in a business organisation. In addition to that, it allowed
me in enhancing my knowledge and inter-personal skills which will further facilitate in
professional practices and activities.
Referring to previous attempt of completion of report assessment, there were several
issues and challenges faced by me in carrying out various different activities in order to achieve
desired and expected goals. For instance, it includes lack of efficiency in proper understanding of
brief, lack of time-management in different activities, inefficient approach towards research upon
determined topic, etc. In addition to that, all these issues and challenges further resulted in failure
in completion of assessment up-to desired standard of quality. Primary and major of these issues
includes inefficient understanding of brief provided to me as well as insufficient research upon
determined topic in order to accumulate available information for completion of project.
Furthermore, all these issues and challenges altogether resulted in being a major barrier in
achievement of specified standard of project.
In order to understand deviations and mistakes in previous attempt, I considered
discussion with my fellow mates as well as mentors in order to get some guidance for the same.
For instance, comments provided by faculty also contributed in effective understanding of issues
and challenges that occurred in completion of project in previous attempt. Moreover, it resulted
in providing me with guidance about issues as well as specific areas for improvement for further
attempt of completion of project in an efficient manner. This particular attempt is a huge
opportunity for me to enhance my skills and knowledge with consideration of areas of
improvement as well as issues faced by me in previous attempt.
In order to move further, each and every aspect has been taken into consideration by me
in order to complete this project in an efficient manner. For instance, it includes previous failure
issues as well as current areas for improvement to be focused in this particular attempt in order to
achieve desired standards for completion of report assessment. In addition to that, primary

corrective measure initiated by me is to understand provided brief as well as comments marked
by faculty. It will facilitate in effective understanding of essential requirements for completion of
this particular project. Moreover, effective time-management for carrying out different activities
is another major consideration for ensuring efficient completion of project. On the other hand,
research been conducted and carried out carefully and specifically in order to gather information
and knowledge to be used in completion of this determined project. Therefore, major and
primary purpose behind all these additional efforts implemented in this attempt lies in attempt for
achievement of determined standards for the completion of project.
