This research is related to the field of management. The title of this research is “Identification of
effective management style for a modern workplace: A case study of Cole’s supermarket". The
key problem is the management of Cole’s supermarket is a lack of effective management style
which leads to decline revenue and profitability of the company. Another problem is that
management is not competent to attain their objectives due to inadequate planning and
organizing the work along with exercising the authority (Balashova and Gromova, 2016).

along with organizing their work and how they use their power. But, there was a lack of
understanding in their article regarding different management style. Taking a more general
approach, Gilin Oore Leiter and LeBlanc (2015) stated that management can use six different
management styles such as Directive, Authoritative, Affiliative, Participative, Pacesetting
and Coaching.
