INTRODUCTION
The study will cover the decision making aspects taken in order to select journals, giving
priority, delegating work and managing time. Further, the study is based on the critical
evaluation and analysis of the decision-making tools, initiatives, skills and management used in
the project to attain its ultimate objectives. The provided reflection is based on the Gibbs
reflective cycle;
DESCRIPTION
The present study is all about the management under uncertainty, in regards to the same topic
study justifies the attribution theory of management, which is important in interpreting the
behavioural aspects of human. In order to make the study effective, it was essential to cover the
valid and reliable points, which are supported by authentic references and sources.
FEELING AND EVALUATION
While conducting the assignment, it was very critical to make justifiable decisions with proper
collaboration and teamwork, so arrive at a mutual decision. There were several decisions to be
undertaken in aligned with the entire involved member's acceptance wherein there is a demand
for active group work and considering the right time, requirement and rationale of executing a
task. The significant decisions which were required to be given first priority were the:
ACTION
Selection of journals
One of the crucial decisions is to select the source of collecting data, as an optimal data form an
optimal study. Thus, in regards with the same, suitable information is collected from the way of
journals, it is because, in my perspective, journals are very reliable are capable of generating the
best outcomes, the journals are selected because of the rations as these have proper authors
mentioned for which we can rely on. I learned various aspects while conducting this study I
came across various types of sources and information collection methods. I personally consider

that journals offer the best and most viable information while also offers updated information
including the authentic author’s and publisher’s name. This journal will be beneficial for my
study as it reflects a comprehensive overview of the attribution theory of management and makes
a contribution to the entire attributional research, thereby enhancing my understanding and
knowledge on the similar literature and topic.
I found two relevant journal sources on this cited topic which are:
Harvey, P., Madison, K., Martinko, M., Crook, T. R., & Crook, T. A. (2014). Attribution theory
in the organizational sciences: The road travelled and the path ahead. Academy of Management
Perspectives, 28(2), 128-146.
The main rationale of mine on selecting this journal is that it provides an in-depth understanding
on the attribution theory in the organizational science; it also covers general and basic content
and information which facilitates in increasing my knowledge regarding the specific topic. I held
this journal very effective, as it was able to meet the criteria and requirements for the study; the
information embedded within is realistic and fundamental and is exactly same what I wanted.
Snead, K. C., Magal, S. R., Christensen, L. F., & Ndede-Amadi, A. A. (2015). Attribution
theory: a theoretical framework for understanding information systems success. Systemic
Practice and Action Research, 28(3), 273-288.
The above journal is selected due to the aspect that it provides comprehensive and detailed
information regarding the attribution theory, and places appropriate theory which facilitates the
interpretation of information system success. This journal is selected above all, as I found this
more credible and meaningful in relation to the main topic.
Prioritization
In this study, the decision was to be taken regarding the priority of considering content from
selected journals; it is because each study has its own importance and contribution towards the
research, but the proportion of contribution cannot be equal. Further, it demands prioritization
that which content is best suitable for the provided sections and parts, as the content was required
to be segregated in accordance with the study requirements. Moreover, I can say that it was yet

another critical decision if in case any content is inappropriately distributed then it can lead to
misleading and wrong information.
While conducting the priority task, I distributed the basic content in the brief sections and
comprehensive content into the analysis thereby it led an effective result, all thanks to the
support and collaboration of the decision-making team members. Proper discussions were held to
arrive at valid decisions, perspectives of all members were undertaken, and the disagreements
were resolved in the way of discussion. The content was selected from the journals and thereby
divided as per the research requirements, to meet the criteria which satisfy the purpose of the
study.
Distribution of work
The delegation of work was another major decision to be taken in the study, for this the group
members were required to consider better decisions regarding the allotment of tasks to different
members by considering their skills and capabilities. This decision will be inclusive of the factor
that which individual will perform what duty, and the manner they will operate it and how they
will react and overcome in the situation of concerns or conflicts. By considering this aspect, I
initially researched and analysed the skills and abilities of every member, and delegated the task
according to the same this reduced the burden plus assisted in adding more professionalism to
each task.
Time management
This task was allotted within the given deadline. Therefore, it was important for the team to
consider multiple tasks in a proper time plan to complete this task in a proper manner. For this
aspect, each person after delegating a task was provided with the specific deadline and was
ordered to complete the task in at the right time and right manner. During the study course, we
ensured the optimum utilization of time, and every individual was informed to complete and re-
consider their tasks in a timely manner, guidelines and proper structure were established to
facilitate the members in submitting the tasks before the deadline.

CONCLUSION
The conducted study shows that decision-making process is highly important in terms of
planning, organizing, controlling and functioning tasks and functions. It is evidenced that, the
study has considered effective decision making by exploiting skills, abilities, which is also
supported by suitable time. Thus, the study has made optimum use of available time and
resources which have resulted in attaining the goal and purpose of retaining valuable and
meaningful content and information.
