Task4A
The scientific management is something, which is mainly concerned with the individual task and
how the workers are fit and able to do the tasks efficiently and benevolently. A that time some
scientific management theories were being developed and they were given the shape considering
the whole system of the large businesses, the departments of the government, and they were
trying to make out that how efficiently could the system work.
Comparisons between Most Effective and Less effective
Bureaucratic Management System(Most
Effective)
Autocratic management System(Less effective)
The people here are administrative class who are
mainly responsible for the maintenance of the
coordination among the members.
The leaders do not consider about any coordination.
They give the one and final call.
From top to the bottom, there is hierarchy in the
bureaucratic system of management.
There is no such ranking system. The leader is the
all in all.
In this system, there is the division of work where
the work is divided systematically according to the
specialisation of the person.
There is very les involvement of the group in the
work done. No such specialisation facility is there.
There is no personal relationship. Everything is
very official. No involvement of emotion, personal
grievance etc.
Sometimes dictatorship comes due to the hatred
and grievance and from the tendency of acquiring
something.
Table 3: Comparison of the Management Systems
(Source: Created by the learner)
The above study of comparison says that the most effective system of management clearly
depicts the job responsibilities and the duties of the employees. There is consistency in the
behaviour of the employee and they are chosen based on the expertise. Thus, there lies the
prospect of enhancement of the business since the companies maintain the hierarchy and the
division of labour. The Autocratic System, however, does not depict a effective system.

Task4B
The best leadership style that can be used is the Transformational Leadership. This is a theory
where the leaders work with the teams in order to identify the change, which is needed, and in
order to create the vision to guide changes through the inspiration. The transformational
leadership is something, which serves to enhance the morale, the motivation, the performance of
the group through the different varieties of mechanisms. It gives the workers the inspiration of
the achievement in the works they are working.
The transformational leadership style follows some specific characteristics. The leaders want the
workers to be very well organised, to be very creative, and to meet the expectation of the job.
The transformational leaders are always very team-oriented, and they expect that their followers
will form a team and work together. The leaders are confident enough to give an enriched
leadership so that the followers can give a complete result of the work. The leaders respect their
followers and respected back. In a transformational leadership, the leader acts as a coach,
deploys the training, and motivates the employees to work accordingly. The leaders create a
rapport and influence the employees to work in a better way. This structure works best for the
small business.
