Competitors
The three major competitors of the airline service provider Ryan-Air are EasyJet,
Lufthansa Group and British Airways (ryanair.com 2020).
Competitive Strength
On analysing the competitive strength of the above mentioned three competitors of
Ryan-Air, it can be found that Easy is the major competitor of Ryan-Air. They possess more
employees than them, which helps them to provide faster and smoother service to their global
customers. Differentiation on brand as well as in the price acts as a competitive strength of
this organization. On the other hand, Lufthansa performs multi-passenger branding through
the presence of different brands under an umbrella which serves almost all the segments that
are present in an airline organization. Providing services across the region of Europe also
provides a major boost in competitiveness of this business entity.
British Airways, on the other hand, innovations in providing services through their
services acts as a major strength in all the services that are provided to their global customers.
It can be stated in this context that aviation industry or services that are provided in airline
organizations is one of the most competitive business industries among all other industries
that prevail in global business environment. One mistake will be led to shift in selection of
the services by the passengers. So, providing innovative offers through innovative techniques
helps as a major boost and the same is followed by all the three major competitors of Ryan-
Air, mainly British Airways and Lufthansa Group. They all enjoy competitive advantage over
the company of Ryan-Air (Gonçalves 2018).
