Accommodation service industry is the industry in whcih companies offer diverse services
ranging from bed and breakfast to accommodating as well as catering facilities to the
customers. This presentation is based on Intercontinental Hotel group which is a British
multinational hospitality company. This firm was incorporated in 2003 and headquartered
in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England, UK.

Introduction of hospitality industry
Hospitality sector is the significant contributor to the UK economy in financial employment
and reputation terms. This industry is a very broad sector and offer different service like
lodging, food, transportation and others to the customers. This sector is made up of two
distinct service like provision of overnight accommodation for individual staying away
home and the provision of sustenance for people eating away from home or not prepari8ng
their own meal.

Contribution of accommodation sector to the
industry as a whole
Accommodation industry refers to that business sector who offer room, building and
lodging services to people for stay, sleep ad live. The accommodation sector is the most

recreation like beaches, seashores or historic are, ski parks etc.
