surveys for knowing their preferences about the stores. After successfully surveys and
interviews, it has been identified that store have not enough items for women due to which they
are less visiting in the store. So that, it can be said that qualitative research method allows the
investigators to identifying the problem through going in-depth and encourage them to get valid
solutions for the problem. This method will also prove beneficial for “The Green Coffee and Tea
Cafe” because with the help of this, they will easily understand the concept of globalisation along
with influences of multinational companies of small enterprises.
Therefore, it can be said that this method allows the researchers to gather in-depth
knowledge about the specific research topic and also encourage them to interact with the
individuals so that valid informations will be received that will prove beneficial for completing
the research (Reich, 2014).
Quantitative research methods- It is used for determining the specific solutions for the
problems which are faced by the organisation through gathering numerical data so that by
interpreting it valid solutions will be received. In this method, data is collected from potential
respondents by using data sampling methods and it is interpreted in an understandable way so
that future modifications can be executed by the project team members in an effective manner.
In addition to this, It is a systematic investigation of phenomena through collecting
quantifiable data and performing statistical or computation techniques so that possible solutions
can be provided at the last of research programme. In order to gathering data in this method,
researcher can conduct questionnaire or surveys so that opinions and suggestions can be taken by
the respondents. For e.g., Project managers or investigator of “The Green Coffee and Tea Cafe”
wants to know that how much time will be spend by the team members of project for executing
the project so that investigator can chose survey in the form of questionnaire through which they
will be know about the amount of time which is taken by employees for executing the project.
These methods support the investigator in understanding the views and opinions of respondents
through collecting data in quantifiable manner so that project should be completed in easy
manner.
Data collection- It is a process of collecting information and measuring it on targetted
variables in a systematic manner so that it can be used in completing the research in an effective
manner. There are two kinds of data collection methods which are given as under:
