which has a large stake in the business as social group or society. The analysis of stakeholder is
the process of identifying those people who are affected by the project or event. This report is
based on the Star printers in London which prints the stationery of business and local magazines
with the wide range of the varied commercial interests. There are various major stakeholder
which can influence or influenced by the performance of SPL, those stakeholders are customers,
employees, suppliers, shareholders and government and regulatory bodies. These stakeholder
plays major role in SPL those including the customers in which they identify the needs and
demand of customers for creating sales. The most of the consumers are contribute through giving
efficient content as per the requirement of the people so that it leads to the development.
Further, government and regulatory bodies plays an important role in which they have to manage
the operations of organisation so that they can manage the business in foreign countries
efficiently. In addition to this, suppliers are the people who facilitate the organisation by
integrating needs and efficient resources. At last, the shareholders play an important role in an
organisation by making financial investment in a company and they share the profit on the
behalf of an organisation. There are some strategies for improvement in personal networking at
SPL which helps them to manage the effective communication is to attend conferences, seminars
and consultant meeting and seminars which helps to manage proper relations with the employees
of the stated organisation. Further, the process of communication which is used at organisation is
including the written communication, conference and training programs which are required to be
proper so that it fulfil all the aspect of the organisation according to the requirement. It helps in
improvement in the level of communication with different aspects so that issues can be resolved.
In addition to this, the report is also considering the personal plan to improve own
communication at organisation which involves learning and development, presentation skills,
language proficiency, appropriate use of volume and extrovert personality these all helps to
improve the communication skills which will overall give idea to enhancement of SPL. These

and there are various channels of communication including the face to face meeting regarding

INTRODUCTION
Now a days, management of communication is the important part of the business which
includes proper communication helps the members in order to always linked and keeps an
organisation for operating the activities effectively. It is required in an organisation to
understanding of knowledge, information and appropriate process of communication for
competitive advantage. Present report is based on Star Printers London is a printing company
which prints business stationery, local magazines with a range of diversified commercial
interests(Borghoff and Pareschi, 2013).
This report covers the range of decisions and to identify the knowledge and information
which is required to ensure effective decision-making. Further, it also covers the internal and
external sources of information and understanding. This report also includes the decision-making
process in SPL. Stakeholders play an effective so that companies also involve them in decision
making process. SPL has developed an effective means of collecting information. It also covers
the strategies for improvement at SPL. Moreover, the process of communication in the stated
organisation based on findings. The success of organisation defines the relevance of this system.
At last, implementation of strategies to improve the system of information and knowledge(Ward
and Peppard, 2016).

There are large range of decisions to be taken at SPL which helps an organisation in
decision-making process. This decisions are taken to improve the performance of an organisation
and to increase productivity. Management try to train their employees fir better decisions
making and even provide them with supportive environment to take proper decisions without
any problem. So there are various range of decisions which are taken by the SPL:ï‚· Corporate level decisions- The top level management of the company take the grand
strategic decision which are related with the growth and strategies of the company. It
includes financial performance, mergers and acquisitions and proper allocation of
resources are considered in this level of decision.

ï‚· Tactical level decisions- These decisions are taken by the middle level management
which includes the requirement of resources and the management of performance to
achieve the strategies of the business(Schwalbe, 2015).
ï‚· Operational level decisions- Operational level decisions are taken on the daily basis
activities or it participating in taking short term decisions of the department or meeting
the goals and objectives of a team which can influence their own performance.
In order to examine the information and knowledge required to make sure effective
decision taking. SPL ensures the efficiency of knowledge and information for the employees. It
helps to evaluate and analyse the growth in the economy. In the current competition level, the
efficient research of the competitive analysis helps in evaluating the chances to grow for the
company. There is also a efficient part of the business activities is the government policies and
legal framework. To ensure knowledge and information about this factors helps an organisation
to grow in efficient manner. This can be achieve by develop in knowledge and apply that
knowledge in innovative ideas, to strengthen competitive position,improvement in flexibility and
to maintain the environment of work(Whitman and Mattord, 2013). There is a crucial part of
decision-making process is the internal identification of the organisation. Thus, effective
communication with members of the organisation and initiate smooth working environment for
the business. Decision making is a one off activity which doesn’t give any other chance to
decision makers. To be establishing in the retail sector one must be aware about the know-how
of the retail business. The important decisions to be taken include capital investment, structure of
business, location of the store, items to be kept, managing inventory, supply chain management,
suppliers etc. In addition to this, it can be said that proper analysis of competitors allows to have
effective development of strategies in order to overcome issues. Proper information in regard to
long term sustainability and methods to overcome issues is also significant because it helps in
meeting objectives.

manage the proper range of the information in organisation both internal and external. The

related to the production cost, cost of material and details of suppliers. In SPL as they source all
around the world so they have many details. To manage and maintain internal data, SPL has

Porter's five forces model SPL gathers the information related to competitive analysis.
On the other side, external sources of information includes government, trade grouping
and commercially provided information which help them to make correct decisions for business.

which they used various types of process of communication so that they can achieve goals and
objectives. There is personal plan to improve own communication skills at workplace including
learning and development through continuous learning from different sources such as
newspapers, journals and to improve own communication skills through training and
development. Further, it also includes presentation skills so that people present skills
confidently. Moreover, they used various strategies to improve communication like effective
channels, proper listening of message, face to face meetings etc. Thus, it is concluded that
communication plays an important role in an organisation and it is essential to follow the
effective communication process for the betterment of organisation.
