INTRODUCTION
Cultural diversity refers to one of the most essential element where different background
people working together for the attainment of organizational goals and objectives without
considering age, gender, religion and any other factor. In the current environment, while doing
business expansion it becomes essential for the higher authorities to manage diversified culture
atmosphere at their workplace in a proper and appropriate manner. For the present research
project, Lloyd’s register is chosen as the base organization. It is a technical aswell as business
services entity& a maritime diversified society, fully owned by Lloyd’s Register Foundation. It
is a charity organization which mainly works for conducting research in the field of engineering
and science. The company was founded in the year 1760. Their main aim is to improve the safety
of property, life, and the environment, by assisting its clients for quality construction along with
operation of critical infrastructure. The current research is mainly based on the topic named as
managing cultural diversity at the workplace. For this aim and objectives has been developed by
the investigator along with this research methodology is also going to be discussed in this report.

equality & diversity practices within their workplace so that they can easily manage diversified
workforce in an effective manner. By adopting such practices, it has also been said that managers
can effectively develop positive working environment at their workplace that leads to growth as
well as development of organization in market.

According to the opinion of Gharama, Khalifa and Al-Shibami, 2020, it is said that if higher
authorities of an organization manage diversified culture at workplace in an effective manner it
will positively influences the performance and functionality of the organization at the

influence over the performance of employees. It has been said that every element have their own
impact based on the way it has been considered. Similarly management of diversified workforce
at the marketplace have their both positive and negative influence on the performance and
efficiency of employees. If talking about positive impact, it will assist in developing positive and
strong relationship between employee and employer at workplace. But in case of negative impact
manager get restless and irritated while managing different cultural background people.

staff members. This will positively enhance the performance and profitability of the
company at the competitive marketplace.
 It has also been suggested to the management team of the company that they must
manage diversified workforce within their organizational premises by adopting equality
& diversity practices at their workplace. This will also help them in order to retain their
potential candidates within the organization for a longer time frame.

Iam very glad and overwhelmed to get an opportunity where I was conducting a research on one
of the most emerging topic in today’s era which is managing cultural diversity. First phase for
