[P2} Produce a project management plan that covers aspects of cost, scope,
time, quality, communication, risk and resources.
Project management plan:
Project: A project can be defined as collaboration of human beings and resource
materials to create and deliver a specific goal or plan. A project includes a firm and
definite structure with necessary resources to fulfil a certain aim. Projects can be
differentiated into large and small projects depending on the output and the amount
of labour and resource needed. A project management plan is implementing the
ideas and strategies to execute a project and the necessary resources that provide a
blue print of the task to be done (Kerzner and Kerzner 2017).
In this project, the main idea is to examine the influence and effect of digital media
on the business output of Tesco plc. Structured surveys and interviews has been
conducted in order to understand the parameters which are most affected by the
involvement of the digital innovation (Harrison and Lock 2017).
Scope of the project: The main idea of this project is to determine the parameters
and factors that affect the business output and the challenges Tesco plc has to face
while dealing with disruption and transformation of the digital technology (Tesco
2018).
There are certain planning strategies on which the project management plan is
made.
Timescale:
The amount of time required to conduct this research is 12 months.
A project management plan includes detailed structure of the aim of the project, the
strategies involved, the cost, scope, timeline, resources required and other
factors .The main parameters that have been covered in this management plan are
as follows:
Cost: The total cost of the project is 182,000 Pounds
Activity Work time(Hours) Total cost of the
plan (£)
Creating a firm structure of the project 70 10,000
Communication with the management and authority
of Tesco plc
210 2,000
Cost on Labour 340 25,000
Surveys: Initial cost on primary survey of the
members and employees of the company and
surveys conducted on a larger scale.
300 15,000
Analysis of the data collected 50 10,000

Quality Management:
Quality management looks into the matter of the factors that governs the beneficial
parameters, the structure and processes and the final outline of the output.
Quality management is made up of certain general characters: The quality planning
of the project, the control and the strategies, which help, improve the product (Akgün
et al ., 2014).
The whole idea of a project management plan is to provide a firm structure of
guidelines to the concerned researcher. The quality management plan helps create a
blue print of the tasks to be done in order to complete the research work. The quality
planning determines the processes that are to be conducted and the strategies to
follow it. There are certain values that the concerned organisation follows and the
research work shall be done keeping that in mind. The next factor is frequent
supervision and inspections, which examines the quality of work done. A specific
timescale has been mentioned and needs to be followed by the concerned
participants. In this project, Quality management will be implemented so that the
distribution of labour can be equal and wherever necessary and the funds can be
handled without hindrance.

of the company and the products have been easier and he wants the company to
install advanced media technologies, which can help the marketing team to grow. He
states that with installation of new advanced software, monitoring and tracking
employee records have been easier.
Manager 2: According to her, digital technology has accelerated the process and
the system. However, she believes that, Tesco needs to introduce training and
development programmes so that the employees are able to adapt to the changes.
She also says that with the data and information of the company being subjected to
such a huge network, there is a huge risk of data breach and this problem should be
given serious thought.
