INTRODUCTION
Management of a business is related with taking efficient decisions and adopting best
registries on the basis of some research work to have a better balance with on going activity of
business environment and other latest trend to ensure the long term success of an organisations.
The current research work is base on the consequences of equality and diversity and how it
facilitated gender pay gap in an organisations (Kerzner, 2018). The organisation selected for this
assignment is Land Rover which is a well known British brand of a Four wheel drivers cars that
is engaged in providing exclusively premium and luxury sport vehicles around the various
locations of world. This assignment includes the main aim and objectives of project accomplish
with a project management plan and various tools like WBS and Gantt chart. Beside this, a
research is also conducted to collect reliable data and an evaluation and interpretation of this data
is also there.

P1) Project aims and objectives
With grater expansion of business operation at various locations and integration with
diverse culture has created a issue of managing significant level of equality and diversity at
workplace is arising to ensure a better coordination and workplace environment with in a
business premises (Tonchia, Tonchia and Mahagaonkar 2018). Land Rover is a British
multinational organisations having its headquarter in UK and providing a vast range of luxury
and premium sports cars and utility across the world, thus, it is also encountering a risk of
equality and diversity. Apart from this being in a automotive sector where a trend of male
dominance is quite common an issue of gender pay gap is also seen in business premises of Land
Rover. Thus, this research conducted on Land Rover is having following aim:

The main aim of this research report conducted on Land rover is, “ to get a knowledge
about consequences of equality and diversity and its implication on reducing gender pay gap
with in an organisation”.
Objectives
The main objectives of this research conducted on Land rover are as follows:

2016). It will enhance the overall knowledge and lead to effective personal and educational
development of researcher thus, having a wider future scope.
Cost: It represent the information about total expenditure made for completion of a
project. The estimated cost of this project is £200.
Quality: It represent the reliability and trustworthiness of data collected thus, to maintain
the quality of this research use of best research method and authentic source of data are made
(Eskerod and Jepsen, 2016).
Time: This component represent the time duration needed for meeting the objectives and
completion of research. The expected required for this research is 5 to 6 weeks.
Risk: This factor is related with the issues and barriers faced in journey of research like
challenges related with insufficient amount of finance and time.

Qualitative research method- Use of this methods is made by a researcher when a in-
depth and more theoretical and subjective data is required to have a deep in understanding about
the attitude, nature and behaviour of individuals (Harrison and Lock, 2017).
Quantitative research method- The data and information acquired through using this
method is in numerical form that can be effectively represent in form of tables, graphs and charts
thus, facilitate effective presentation of collected data.
For this research use of Quantitative data is made to have better presentation of findings
about brief perspective of respondents.
Source of data
use of following types of sources of data is made for collecting information for this
particular research:
Primary source- Use of this resource is made to collect first hand and most authentic data
for this research through making use of an questionnaire (Smith and Dodds, 2017).
Secondary source- Use of this sources is made to support finding of primary data
through making use of various past records, literature, books, and other online website.
Use of sampling method is made by a researcher to accomplish a research in a cost
effective and efficient way to accomplish the objective on time. Sampling is process of
identifying and selecting a pre set or determined number of observations and units from a sum of
large number of units belonging to a homogeneous population (Schaltegger and Wagner, 2017).
To maintain the fairness and authenticity in this research use of random sampling is made and a
sample size of 20 stakeholders is selected from all the mangers, customers, directors, business
associates and partner, suppliers, etc. of Land Rover. Use of a questionnaire is made for
gathering opinions and view point of of various respondents on the topic of “ Equality and
diversity”.
