INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity at work place represent that every individual get chances to prove
themselves in terms of sharing their ideas, thoughts and expression. Thus, in such manner to
examines the interest of employees at work place, it is necessary to not discriminate any person
on the bases of caste, sex, colour, region and religion (Binder, 2016). Thus, diversified is
necessary so that individual capabilities in examined in attaining the particular task and thus
various aspects are to be undertaken in respect of carrying the equality at work place. This report
is based upon the study of the Nestle company which is the multinational food company having
headquarter in Switzerland. This company is founded by Henri Nestle in 1866. They are engaged
with around 3,08,000 employees carrying the business of nestle worldwide.

P1 AIM AND OBJECTIVES:
Overview: In this report, it includes the topic as equality and diversity which examines the
individual capabilities regarding pertaining to particular task. As every person is unique and also
carry various liabilities regarding accomplishing the task (Polonsky and Waller, 2018). Thus, in
such perspective, equality and diversity at work place is necessary for retaining the employees at
work place for longer time period. In respect of matter related to Nestle company, it is covered
with large number of employees. In this, every employee had different perspective of
accomplishing the task and also designing their products as per their understanding and thoughts.
Thus, in such manner equality is to be maintained in respect of appreciating every employee
equally by undertaking their thoughts and ideas in right way and motivating them to bring more
such ideas at work place.
Aim- “To investigate the matters related to different issues and challenges examined by
company in maintaining equality and diversity at workplace. A study on Nestle company”
Objectives:
To identify the concept of equality and diversity in the organization.
To examine the issue identified by company in maintaining equality and diversity at work
place.
To assess the factors regarding overcoming from the issues and problems in maintaining
equality and diversity at workplace.

P2 Project Management Plan
In this proper planning is initiated in respect of determining various facts and information
regarding attaining the particular project. It includes the following such as:
Cost: In this factor, the cost is examined regarding attaining the particular project. As before
starting any project the cost is set so that target is accomplished without any barriers. In this
research, the cost is set as $10,000. The cost is incurred in respect of stationary used or any
electronic system which is carried to gather information (Kinsey, 2017). Scope: The scope of the research is determined through gathering information from the
academic perspective or any key words through the stability of the research is determined
(Bell and Harrison, 2018). Thus, by referring the matter from scholar or any other
academic books, the stability of the research is determined. Time: In respect of undertaking in any project, time plays the important role as time is set
in respect of project initiation date. This can be examined through preparing the Gantt
chart in which the whole activity is properly scheduled and thus they are undertaken to
accomplish the research within the stipulate time. Quality: The quality of the research is important in every perspective. In research, the
quality can examine through prespring aim and objectives and then cross checking it with
tutor for further guidance (Basu, 2017). Thus, in such manner quality work is to be
interpreted and also its is helpful in gathering the accurate information. Communication: In this research, communication is needed at the time of raising
questionnaire or conducting interviews with the participants. Through these aspects it
results in getting accurate information regarding the selected topic and thus also it
improves the communication skills by coordinating with various employees at the work
place (Fink, 2016). Risk: Risk is examined in this research in respect of time boundation. As every activity
needed the accurate time to gather the right information (Archibald and Archibald, 2016).
Thus, in such perspective due to lack of time, it results in getting less information

Research methodology is an effective tool which is useful in determining the gaps on the
particular subject matter. This helps in gaining in- depth information associated with the research
topic. This method is very useful in gaining relevant and useful information which mainly leads
to wider knowledge on the study.
Research methods: This tool is very useful in process which helps in collecting useful
information and specific evidence for the analysis of the data helps in uncovering new

P 7 Reflection
I have gained immense knowledge on the equality and diversity of the company which in
turn helps in improving the performance and productivity of the business. It was very interesting
for me to broaden the knowledge on the matters related with different issues and challenges
examined by company in maintaining equality and diversity at workplace. I have evaluated that,
discrimination at workplace results in higher absenteeism, lower productivity, high stress, etc.
which in turn leads to bad reputation for the company. I have also examined that, cultural and
ethical difference in the workplace tends to affect the performance and employer employee
relation within the organization. I have gained knowledge and empowerment within the
organisation which in turn helps in improved performance and productivity. I have gained
knowledge on this subject matter which in turn results in higher operational goals and objectives.
I have the ability to gel up with all the employees in the organization by effectively reviewing
positive value. I also focus ion encouraging diverse work culture in order top meet new people of
different culture belief and knowledge. This in turn helps in learning new things and eliminates
gender equality, cultural barrier within the workforce. I have effectively used qualitative research
methodology which is an interesting task and in turn helps in gaining wider knowledge and
pinpointing answers of various respondents. I have developed a questionnaire which alos helps in
gaining viewpoints of various participants in order to attain aim and objectives of the study.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been summarized that, equality and diversity at work place

thoughts and expression. Furthermore, this study analyses, cultural and ethical differences is
considered to be one of the major issues which are identified by the company in order to
