ABSTRACT
Managing a business project is a time consuming and wider concept which is needed to be
understood in proper manner. Business project is defined as written document showing goals as
well as objectives which are to be achieved. The present report is being conducted to understand the
gender & racial diversity in organisation. At workplace, employees are mostly affected by as they
faced inequalities at deeper level. Therefore, in this research discussions have been made about

INTRODUCTION
Organisation & business environment are essentials & integral part which have deep impact
on employees. Racial inequalities is defined as dividing or authorization power, improper way of
accessing opportunities within society or enterprise. (Bastos, 2018). Checkout.com, a medium
organisation headquartered in UK (United Kingdom). The enterprise deals in payment technology
processing and provides quality of services to its end users. It has offices and branches in Asia, U.S
& in Middle East. Company’s technology allows businesses to accept payments via online modes.
It involves credit, debit card, stored value digital wallets etc. This report includes aims & objectives,
project management plan, WBS and Gantt chart, research methods, research and data techniques,
recommendations and reflection. This report gives brief knowledge about concept of gender as well
as racial inequality how they affects the personnel & their behaviour at workplace.
Literature Review
As per opinion of (John. M, 2020), employees in organisation often deals with inequalities at
workplace. It is mostly done on the basis of gender factor between men and women. Manager and
supervisor are responsible for managing such type of situations. It is crucial to provide equal
opportunities to personnel so that they work with appropriate manner. This report focuses on

research, different tools and approaches, to examine the undertaken scenario at depth. When there
is present of racial inequalities risks and conflicts occur at larger scale (Barnes, 2018). According
to government ( Gvt) of UK. ratio of inequalities is moderate in country but in some corporate
sectors, it is affecting the individual at wider area.
Racial inequality challenges-
 Difficult in managing subordinates and achieving goals.
 Conflicts between employees with team mates which gives rise to personal problems.

Research aims- Main aim of this research is to analyse reason for inequalities & implement
strategies for the same. Also, to analyse behaviour and attitude of subordinates at workplace. It is
necessary to achieve aim so that research is completed in proper way. It is responsibility of project
manager to assure that stated aim is carried out effectively.

Therefore, it is crucial to focus on aims, objectives and research questions so that all goals
are clearly analysed. Furthermore, without analysing them it is not possible for project manager to
initiate project. It is time consuming and first phase which is needed to be carried out with
appropriate considerations so that problem do not occur in further process.

Project management plan refers to written document which depicts the all activities,
procedures, & other aspects of completing a particular project (Nance, 2016). A PMP help in
examining what goals & objectives are to be achieved & are specified in systematically. It clearly
reflects how the work is going to be finished as well as what essentials will be needed for achieving

objectives. To carry out this in effective way, high level of expertise and knowledge is required.
So, it involves several types of elements which are required and are discussed below-
Scope- The scope of this project is broader & application applied within the research are
used at larger scale. Racial inequalities is rising at rapid level which shows that it widely affects
personnel behaviour. Also, the credentials related to concept has been explored in brief.
Time- The undertaken project will be completed with time duration between 11 weeks
which will be needed to complete the work. It is necessary to examine time duration so that

used effectively. To do this, TQM ( Total Quality Management) has been used to maintain quality of
project and work. Credentials have been collected through reliable sources which reflects quality of

Communication- In a project, it is essential to have effective communication within a
team, so that work is done in correct way without facing any problem or issues. There are various
ways of communication such as text messages, E-mails, social media, mobile etc. which are used
by Checkout.com.
Risk- It is integral part of business & research which is crucial to identified at right time so
that changes are to be adopted accordingly. In this, risk associated is identified which is information
used in this work can be misused by third party if not taken measures. Other risks such as conflicts
amongst colleagues, team members can be arise which leads to delay of work (Hicken, 2018).
Resource- These are most crucial part of research as because resources are required for
achieving final output. It is duty of manager to make ensure that all required essentials are present
which can be used whenever there is requirement. So, there are various resources which are
required such as capital, informations, funds etc. In relation with chosen entity, manager prior keep
them so that work is completed without any hurdles.
Thus, the above mentioned matter depicts that it is crucial to use resources in most efficient

manner so that final output or results is achieved on time. Also, with they are to be used at time of
actual requirement with focusing on future perspectives. The above stated elements assists in
properly making decisions as well as accomplishing final results.

Manager often assigns tasks, roles, activities & duties so that work is completed within a
given period of time. It is not easier to divide work between team & which requires a deep level of
understanding and knowledge. The manager of company uses two approaches to carry out this
which are WBS & Gantt Chart. Both are being used with appropriate analysis so that it become
easy to get the results.
Gantt Chart - It is a approach which is used by marketers through which assigning of
activities, roles, duties are being given to team members (Aldus, 2020). It is a time consuming
process which is needed to be carried out with proper knowledge. It is most implemented on Excel,
and many others software depending upon company's preferences. In relevance chosen
organisation, they need to implement chart so that manager is able to assign work to all team
members. Through use of this, work is being completed on given deadline. Moreover, it is easier to
analyse what and which task is has been assigned to which member. In relation with selected
enterprise, they assures that it is being prepared through expertise so that errors do not occur during
the process.

After analysing the stated paragraph, it shows that activities have been allotted to team
members according to their skills as well as knowledge. Also, it helps manager in tracking and
examining of tasks progress. Hence, with use of smart skills it is possible to allot activities to team
members. Furthermore, rechecking is also done so that correct duties are assigned.
Work Break Down Structure- It is another method which is used by managers of project
to divide complex work into simple one so that it is easier to achieve goals. This tool is done at
time when longer functions or operations are to performed by team members. In relevance with
selected entity manager of firm use this tool so that all work is being structured properly.
Furthermore, detailed analysis of work is being explained in such a way that it is understood by
employees effectively (LARSON, 2018).
When using WBS, a detailed analysis of work is given through entire team is able to
examine risks, factors, methods with appropriate considerations. It require a deep level of
knowledge and skills for carrying out process.

Thus, from analysing above paragraph it has been seen that both tools are essential for
understanding workflow. They are to be used according to their specifications as both are different
form each other. To use them, skills & capabilities are required because it is not easy for individual
to who is using it for first time.

objectives
Research methods are essential to use because they assists in gathering up credentials for
work. In context with Checkout.com, manager of project use two types of approaches which are
qualitative and & quantitate methods. Both help in gaining information, & are used depending upon
preference of entity. Without using them, it is difficult to collect data for work.
Qualitative approach- In this method, theoretical concept is mostly focused rather than
numerical data (Mavi, 2018). It is used when data or information is needed to be collected of theory
or words only. This also depicts that it explores opinions, thoughts, etc. are focused briefly. It is
useful when new techniques, tools, or concept are being introduced.
Rationale-
The main reason for selecting method is that it gives a brief knowledge of undertaken
research & also provide with detailed credentials of subject.
Quantitate method- This is approach which assist in collection of information which is
related with numerical, calculations, maths etc. It is used when there is need of gaining numerical
data & is concerned with finance. It requires depth knowledge of finance & accounting (Wang,
2017),
Rationale-
It is used because it give more realistic, reliable, test theories as well tools used within the
researcher. Through this use, it help researcher to use quality of information in work. Moreover, it
provide detailed analysis about population of inequality which affects the individuals. It includes
various methods such as surveys, interviews, questionnaire etc.
Methods of data collection- It is essential for organisation to use data collection methods so
that it become easy to gain information. There are basically different types of approaches which are
explained below-

Primary data- This approach is used when information is to be gain from updated & fresh
new sources such as surveys, interviews, etc. From these, new credentials are gained which help in
completion of research appropriately. The sources of primary data are being used with correct
measures so that all credentials are collected at wider scale (Ong, 2016).
Reason- It is used because it help researcher to access & directly addressed the topic by
giving reliable facts.
Secondary data- These are defined as those in which data is collected from secondary
sources such as newspaper, radio, broadcast etc. They are cost effective to be used as compared to
primary one .

It is used because it is easily available, cost effective and less time consuming.
