The aim of the assessment is to analyze a business process within the organization for the
purpose of understanding the overall performance. This report will focus entirely on
understanding the different methods and tools that are used for the purpose of carrying out a
project. The project that is going to be carried out within the ABC organization is the
implementation of ERP model. It has been observed that the ERP implementation process is the
best IT solution that helps in improving the overall business performance. This also ensures that
all the key IT solution is aligned successfully with the business objectives.
About the ABC Organization
ABC organization is one of the largest firms in the healthcare industry. ABC organization
currently has a wide number of centers all over the Australia. The main objective of the
organization is to offer better services towards the patients that are present at remote locations.
However it has been observed that due to certain issues in remote locations the business
performance got hampered widely (Ali & Miller, 2017). Thus there is a need to introduce proper
IT solution that will be capable of enhancing the services that are offered towards the patients.
Problem statement
ABC organization operates at wide range and thus there is a need to organize every
components and facilities successfully so that it can enhance the overall performance. It has been
observed that organization is currently facing huge issue with managing the finance and the
services that are offered towards the patients (Zouaghi & Laghouag, 2016). The storage capacity
of the organization also got hampered due to lack of proper maintaining and service facilities.

The scope of the project is to design an ERP system within the ABC organization so that

Project aims at developing an ERP system for the purpose of enhancing the overall
functionality of the organization. The objectives behind carrying out the project are listed below:
 Ensure that the data related to the patients are stored successfully and maintained
properly with the use of electronic storage.
 The finance management within the organization will also be enhanced with the
development of ERP system (Tarhini et al., 2015).

The objective of the project is to ensure that all the key goals are meet successfully while

effectively (Beheshti et al., 2014). This is leading to hamper the overall performance and also
impacting the way finance is managed. The organization currently is facing huge lag in
maintaining the overall profit ratio. Thus there is a need to implement a business strategy that
will be capable of aligning the overall business functionalities. There are several issues that are
currently faced by the organization (Chatzoglou et al., 2014). Thus there is a need to integrate
proper solution for the purpose of enhancing the business.
Impact of ERP implementation project
ERP implementation within the ABC industry is considered to be the most beneficial
project. This project will lead to enhance the overall business performance. The reason behind
integrating ERP system is that it offers huge visibility towards the organization and also ensures

it can be stated, improper installation or vendor selection will lead to negatively impacting the
condition of ABC organization.
Opportunities
The opportunity that comes along with the implementation of this project is wide in
number. It is expected that the organizational workflow will get enhanced with the use of proper
technology. With an enhanced business workflow it has been expected that the profit ratio will
also increase. Thus it can be stated that in order to improve the overall functionality of the

The threats from competitors are increasing day by day. It has been observed that due to

ABC organization has faced several issues with managing the overall productivity. Thus
it can be stated that with the implementation of this process it will become easy to improve the

selected methodology for the evaluation of the project is agile methodology. The main reason
behind selecting agile methodology is that it helps in evaluating the overall performance
successfully and also ensures that all the key phases are divided subsequently for the purpose of
carrying out a successful IS/IT project. The phases that are needed for the successful execution
of the project include identifying the major issue that is occurring within the organization at
present (Khanna & Arneja, 2012). Once this process is executed successfully it is important to

The main reason behind selecting the agile methodology is that it helps in executing the
