CONCLUSION
The main aim of any health care set up is to ensure that high quality services are provided to
the patient in care services so that adequate amount of improvement can be brought to health
issues and problems. Adequate amount of changes is brought in the sector due to various
fluctuations that constantly takes place in the environment. It can be in the form of policies,
technologies, legislations, emergence of new disease, spread of a particular disease in the form of
epidemic and everchanging demand of the customers (Antwi and Kale, 2014). In order to assess
all the variations in the environment, it became important for the researcher to adequately
prepare research on the particular profit. Hence, the aim of present research is to explore the
significance of managing changes in the healthcare organization in order to deliver quality
services. The study has been conducted in the periphery of NHS. Hence, analysing the overall
study conducted by the researcher it can be stated that an unpredictable change in technology
have initiated this impact on services being extended by health care set ups. It becomes important
for the health care set up to bring adequate changes inn its functions also so that the best can
ultimately be provided to the patients in the end (Ginter, 2018).
There are various professions that have been facing inclusion in this sector. These
professions are, nurses, pharmacists, administrators and physicians. Every individual is
competing with each order to achieve their interests and horizons. It becomes difficult for the
organizations to deal with the change in such a manner that it has to keep shuffling and updating
the available technologies being set up in the hospitals so that the best services can be ultimately
delivered to the patients. Updating the health care set up helps in accomplishing adequate
amount of success by having adequate improvements in the deliverables. Providing patient
centric care can help in providing extensive care to the patients in the best possible manner. In
order to gain competitive advantage in the environment, it becomes important for the health care
professional to ensure that all the services are effectively lined up and maintain the record of
patient effectively and efficiently (Hayes, 2014).
The dissertation outlines various types of barriers that are generally faced by healthcare
organization while managing and facing change. Further, strategies are generally adopted in such
a manner that these changes can be effectively implemented in the organizational set up. One of
the major issue faced by them is resistive behaviour initiated by the employees and they do not
accept change in the most effective manner. Further, lack of technological skills and barriers

faced in management restricts the management from taking appropriate steps of bringing change
(Weaver and et.al., 2016).
Research methodology states that interpretivism approach of research philosophy has been
applied by the researcher in the present research. It is due to the act that theories that are related
to managing change are applied. It will help in assessing effective strategies that can help in
effective implementation of change in the organization. Descriptive research design has been
applied to the research so as to develop a clear picture regarding the subject matte and initiate
change in the organization in the most effective way. The researcher has been able to manage
and conduct inductive research approach in order to identify the impact on changes. It has helped
the researcher in developing adequate knowledge regarding current practices that are followed by
NHS. Search strategy has been applied by the researcher to ensure appropriate change and
manage them in the organization.
Another important aspect that is related to research methodology is data collection. In the
present research aspect, secondary type of data collection method has been used by the
researcher so as to make the knowledge base regarding the subject matter concrete. It has helped
in finding current followed practices of NHS in the environment. Random sampling method have
been chosen and applied for the same. Thematic analysis tool has been used to analyse the
collected data with the help of graphs and bar charts. Hence, it can be stated that the present
study is qualitative in nature. It has been ensured that the data that has been collected is valid and
reliable enough in such a manner that effective results are being created out of it (Radnor,
Holweg and Waring, 2012).
The finding chapter of dissertation stats that there are various issues that are being faced by
the organization that is ultimately affecting their service quality. One of the major issue is related
to ineffective method of communication that affect the treatment that is ultimately given to the
patients. It becomes difficult to diagnose the disease and medical treatment extended to the
patient. Poor technical issue is another issue faced by the health care set up, where, it becomes
difficult to extend effective treatment to the care givers. Record keeping becomes difficult and
they fail to diagnose the issue that is faced by the care users. It has increased mortality rate in
NHS.
Information collected by the researcher stated that recording personal information of the
patient can help in maintaining confidentiality to maximum possible extent. It becomes

important to manage change in the organization, where, information technology can come handy
for NHS. It can help in effectively treating the communication issues that are taking place in the
organization and based on which care can be provided to the care users. Ineffective
communication is he major cause of errors which is required to be eliminated from the overall
functioning of NHS.
There are various research limitations that were faced by the researcher in conducting this
research. Time and budget constraint is the main issue that can be highlighted. It is difficult to
collect all the relevant secondary data in specific allotted duration. In such case, there are high
chances of missing out certain researchers that could have contributed effectively to the present
research and could have given more specific conclusion and recommendation. Limited budget
has not been able to give access to the websites that are restricted and can be opened through
certain payments.
In the end, it can be stated that, it is quite important to improve the satisfaction level of the
patient so as to achieve maximum output from health care centre. Providing training to the
professionals regarding new technology installed in the organization is the other method that can
be adopted by NHS for effective implementation of the practices (van Rossum, and et.al., 2016).
It can help in providing effective treatment practices to the patient ultimately improving their
overall condition.
