INTRODUCTION
Managing people by leading, encouraging and motivating is the best way. It is easy when everyone managed there work within good collaboration, great
talent and attitude of work. Leader can manage people in organisation through motivation and support by higher authority. This project discussed about business

and management problems. Mitchells and Butlers company runs many bars, 1,784 pubs and restaurants in United Kingdom. It established in 1898, they provide
good quality drinking and eating products, which was great value for money to their customers (Siebert and Martin, 2016). In this organisation there are 44,000
employees get worked. This is the biggest British retailer firm. This project will have discussed about the knowledge and understanding of organisation on the
bases of their management role and responsibilities. It will also delicious about the theories which impact on business and managing people. Demonstrate skills
and abilities of company and also analysis environments of business.
TASK

Management is a big responsibility for leader of Mitchell and butlers. In business sector company face a lot of problems in managing people at workplace.
By using some theories, it can be explained easily that how it impacts on organisation business and management areas. Manager played an important role in
managing business and people in firm. They are responsible for overall activities of work by employees. Their role in company is to maintaining system and
planning for making business effective. Manager can hire people, give training, recruiting, managing budget and stock control and dealing with customers.
Business impact the potential, operations, and functions of company. Making good brand image manager need to manage their employees in company by
supporting them. It impacts all over the business of Mitchells and butlers. Through marketing research, they can identify the actual value of product which helps
them to increase productivity. To increase productivity company, make strategy different to competitors. Organisation structure is based on some different types of
theories. Such as businesses management, individual, human resource management etc.
1. Businesses management helps to teach how to manage organisation or company. Through this theory Manager can learn something new and different. They
can make control on all the activities of management. This process helps to manage work of company and their workers. It also helps to achieve business
goals. It can increase their understanding level and efficiency of high performance (Taylor, Doherty, and McGraw, 2015). If a manger gets all the basic
knowledge of controlling performance at work area, it will decrease negativity and increase positive environment. It most important role of management
towards their employees because they are the base of successful business. It consists other functions like creating policy and planning, give direction for
working in proper way and also for controlling workers.

2. Individual theory: manager can have performed individually in making business more effective than the others. In company they can make good
communication to their workers and also try to make increase staff members collaboration skills. Communicative environment hamper business growth.
For using this process in company it impacts on their success. Individual person can make own decision without any pressure by high authority. They can
communicate with their staff members understand their issues and problems according to managing work. It builds trust and strong relationship between
both of them. Supportive nature of manger encourages people at workplace to perform their best work by giving great performance of working in project.
They can understand people individually by religious belief, gender etc (Geisler, and Wickramasinghe, 2015). Manager need to manage all workers
equally without any differences. Through motivating they can reduce employee turnover because there are so many organizations in world who treat
workers badly and does not understand their effort which they given by performing. It will increase turnover of people and also decrease the productivity of
company. So for saving frim image in marketplace motivation is very important part. Good management makes good position in state than other company.
Communication, motivation, diversity impact on employees worked performance.
3. Organisation structure is based on authority of company. It directs some activities in order to achieving business goals. In this structure all the information
gets followed by level to level in firm. All the stages of this structure performed their different role and responsibilities of work. Divisional, functional,
matrix and flatarchy are the 4 common organisation structures. Functional structure is based of groups which are divided by manager. They played a
different role within specific role and task. In this process all the staff members are divided in another department such as finance, technology, marketing
and managing etc. Divisional structure is based on horizontal objectives. This type of marketing needs to spend money in project. Matrix structure is based
on employee dependence on one or more managers in company. Workers need to give report their leader after making complete process of work. This is
quite tough than the other structures. Flatarchy structure is the last point of organisation structure, it allows people of different levels to make decision in
company. All this functions and structures helps to increase firm productivity and growth. By following whole process, it can achieve business objectives.

4. Organisational management is a process of managing firm effectively and control their assets. This management theory is based on make planning to
achieve goals, and raise efficiency of employee. By leading or controlling manager can manage over all work performance of their staff members.
5. For establishing business in marketplace manger needs to make some new strategies. In managing organisation structure it faced a lot of issues. The whole
structure is based on their leaders and authority of company. CEO is the head of frim they make all the decision of making company progressive. Then on
the second level manager balance worked of their employees. High authority pass all the budget of company. They order manager for applying rules and
policies over to workers. Through some changes in this structure affect business growth and productivity. Pressure by higher level employee get

demotivated and get turn over to the organisation. Political, economic and technological factors also create some issues in this structure. It creates conflict
in department and inconsistency. Imbalance management makes poor communication between staff members and manger. It also makes unclear goals,
organisation structure should manageable or proper in managing their work. Poor communication decrease efficiency of work and also cannot be able to
achieve business objectives.
LO 2 Demonstrate manager skills and abilities
Role of Manager: manager is very important in company because they can manage overall work of firm. Their duty is to motivate employee for perform
hard in work. They need to make development plans for achieving business objectives. Provide training session to workers which increase their work
efficiency at work place. At tough time they can play a role of counselor and resolve their issues. Making great communication with other staff members.
They need to improve employee skills and also developed their knowledge by giving right direction of working. This will help to increase growth of
business.
Human resource manager worked for controlling department activities and managing staff members. They need to be highly qualified and also have a good
knowledge skill. HRM make disciplines at work area (Ahearne, Lam and Kraus, 2014). They build strong relationship between employees they recruite
people, provide training and help to developed in their personal skills or behaviour. They hire qualified people who achieve business objectives. The most
important role of human-resource manager is to make promotional strategies for promoting business in marketplace. They need to encourage all the staff
members for their effective work performance.
Managing people at workplace is a skill of human-resource manager. They have a knowledge how to manage people in company. Great communication and
collaboration make this effort progressive (Storey, 2016). For this position they have an ability to attract customers toward their products, by making good
promotional strategies. Managing a large organisation manger should make some plans which is different from the other company. By using management
theories, it defines: scientific theory by Frederick W. Taylor. Administrative, human relations theory etc.

relationship and trust in industry. Manager need that all the people get worked together within carrying cooperative nature and also make the same
environment for all staff members. This atmosphere creates positivity in work area. This is the last step of Henry, controlling which was necessary for all
management department in various business organisation. It can help through managing overall high performance worked of company. This is the last
activity by management of firm to their employees. This theory define that all the down level of department has to follow the commands of upper level
authority.
Human relation theory of management: this theory gets developed in the early 1920’s at the time of industrial revolution. This management theory defines
the development and growth of every people in organisation (Pike, 2015). It explains that workers need to be a part of an effective team members by
supporting and motivating to their managers and leaders. Following this theory, it makes some evident during this study. Specific attention increase
efficiency of worked. There are many theory, which help to achieve business objective and goals but without using any motivation techniques it cannot run
properly. Business management department need to involved human relation theory at workplace, it impacts in positive way which help to raise
productivity and progress of succeeding in every activity of growth.

CONCLUSION
It has been concluded that in every organisation managing people is very important for business growth. This report explains the importance of
management for managing the whole work of company. This project is based on thinking performer in the firm. Mitchells and butlers is the best example of this
overall process. For explaining this unit, it has mention many theories such as business management theory and individual management etc. by using this process
manager can make good communication, motivation and diversity of employees. It increases their efficiency of performance for achieving business goals. Thus, it
further defines that the manger role in motivation and supporting workers is very important. Human resource manager also played their role in company different
from the other department. Managing people is the skills of manager. By using management theory of Henry fayol and Human relation helps to manage the overall
high performance of employees. At in the last of this conclusion it also mentions above this study that all process of management increase productivity and
efficiency of employee or manager.
