INTRODUCTION
Managing people at work is important for every organization which helps in improving
the overall performance and productivity of company as well as of employees. It is a difficult
task for organization to handle it effectively. Managing people defines the better motivation for
employees and whole enterprise (Introduction to Managing People, 2016). It is responsible for
managing employees effectually which helps in evaluating benefits to workers in a better way in
order to attain desired results by improving their performance level at workplace. This essay is
based on recruitment of business professionals in which HR department recruits the best
candidates for a particular job or work. With this, company easily improves their performance in
market and also, attains competitive advantages over its rivals.
Overall success of the business is totally based on their employee’s performance. In this
context, it is more important for the organization to manage all human resources effectively
which will lead to enhance their performance level. It is highly critical for company to manage
all people effectively so that company will use effective policies and procedures to develop their
motivation towards the work. In this, manager plays an important role because they have power
to motivate their people to do hard work with more dedication which helps in the achieving
organizational goals and objectives in a systematic manner. Present report is based on The
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. In common its called ANZ, which is third
largest bank in Australia. It is the largest financial and baking service bank which establishes on
1 October 1951, in this Australia bank merged with Union Bank of Australia limited. It include
number of employees within their organizational activities to serve better services to their
customers.
This organization focuses on their customer services in which they give better
opportunities to their staff members so that they can easily handle customers and provide them
better work in order to attain higher satisfaction (Acker, 2012). In this, they use Customer
Relationship Model (CRM) in their process in order to define new and effective ways to interact
with their customers. For this, they develop staff members to attain clients so that they easily
provide them better satisfaction. This essay will discuss about managing people at work which
helps in enhancing the overall performance of company. For better management of human
resource of it is manager duty to recruit experiences business professional within their
organization. With the help of this, HR department uses better policies to manage their workers

business professionals is more important to get better success at market place and also enhance
their brand image. In this, manager plays an important role to satisfy employee’s needs by
providing better services which aid in enhancing their performance level at workplace. Basically,
managing people at workplace is an important responsibility of the HR department which defines
various activities, needs of staff, maintains budget of recruitment, training and development
programs and many more which directly contribute in the overall organizational growth in a
systematic manner. In this context, company uses effective policies in their organization to
recruit skilled and capable candidates for perform particular job. In this Commonwealth Bank of
Australia wants to select skilled and experienced candidates form various institution With the
help of this, they set their specific criteria for invite candidates who are interested for applying
within their organization.
Experienced employees directly contribute in the overall success of company in which
they put strong efforts to complete their tasks. Selected company focuses on their customer
services so that they will include those candidates who have the best capabilities to effectively
handle all customers and understand their specific needs and wants in an appropriate manner. For
this, HR department organize better training and development programs for their employees to
enhance their performance level and make them capable in dealing with the customers. It helps
in getting better satisfaction by them which leads to improve the overall brand image in

bank to have a effective HR policy in order to mange employees and their action at workplace
(Herrmann and Herrmann-Nehdi, 2015). Evidence of this is that an effective HR policy ensure
training and development programmes for workers on continuous basis which help bank in
improve the skills of their employees and at the same time increase quality of its services. In
addition to this, this decrease the employee turnover. For implement this, it is very essential for
ANZ bank to have required resources and time in order to ensure effective development of
employees. Along with this, ANZ bank face various challenges within their recruitment process
such as time, money, job specification and job description which negatively affect the overall
process of recruiting professional so that it is important duty to manager all the resources
effectively and hire right candidates for executing specific activities. For resolve all these
situation ANZ bank use effective strategies and Step by Step procedures in their recruitment
process which leads in implementing overall process effectively and also helps in enhancing
overall performance level at market place. In context of ANZ bank, new candidates will apply
for a job because the growth opportunities for employees is very high in this bank. They provide
better services which enhance their capabilities that directly contribute in developing their career
growth (Eaton, Roberts and Turner, 2015). Along with this ANZ bank also organize better
training and development programs to their staff members for enhancing their effectiveness at
the workplace so that they execute their operational activities in most effective manner. This is a
reason which influence to the candidates to apply for new job within ANZ bank. By this, they
also make risk free environment at workplace and manage their human resources effectively so
that they can serve their services to customers. In this context, HR manager plays an important

market place. Skilled employees know the way to interact with customers and also understand
their needs towards the services which leads in increasing the customer base within
Commonwealth Bank of Australia. With the help of this, they easily attain higher market growth
and also, capture a large market share from its rivals by getting loyalty from customers.

of the important aspects for HR department in which they recruit the best candidates for specific
