2MANAGING PROJECT LIFE CYCLE
Introduction:
For every project management activity there exists certain processes or project lifecycle
stages that provides a structured approach towards complete delivery of a project that are defined
through activities and outputs of phases for each stage.
Discussion:
Key differences in management activities in project lifecycle across different
industries:
While managing the project management lifecycle across different industries such as
engineering, construction as well as government industries certain differences do exist with the
management activities that are undertaken. For example, for managing the project lifecycle of
software engineering industries, it is essential to adopt suitable approaches that will help in the
development of software projects (Stark, 2015). Here mostly, the agile methodology of project
management is used. Besides adopting suitable method, the management activities also includes
initiating team discussion, potential delivery of products and testing of the test cases before the
deliverable of the scheme.
On the other side, the administration activities involved in construction-based project
management lifecycle includes proper maintenance, planning as well as managing the operations
with the help of key role players within the project (Fewings & Henjewele, 2019). It is the due
responsibility of a project manager to perform necessary feasibility tests while identifying the
financial needs during the entire project planning activity of construction-based projects.

3MANAGING PROJECT LIFE CYCLE
Finally comes the government-based project lifecycle where the management activities
preparing of daily project reports, proposing the budget of the mission and finally probing the
feasibility of the entire project.
Conclusion:
Thus, from the report it can be decided that the project organization activity process
consists of some complex activities along with variations depending on the industry type and
hence it is necessary that project managers should be well skilled enough to handle the
complexities while bringing in success towards achieving the desired goal of the project.
