The main idea of the article is to provide details about how student’s inappropriate
behaviour can be managed. Classroom management can be one of the most difficult and hectic
task for teachers. From the article it has been summarized that dealing with inappropriate
behavior of students can be really challenging for teachers.

Managing appropriate and inappropriate student behaviour
The article will give information related to ways for better class-room management which
can be used by the teachers in class itself. It will also provide the ways for having a better class-
room environment. In order to manage the inappropriate behavior of students inside the class, it
is really necessary to implement better, positive and supportive classroom environment. This will
assist teachers in building the positive behavior as students will act appropriately when students
are been liked and appreciated by teachers. For appropriate behavior of students, it is really
necessary for teachers to implement clearly defined set of rules and punishments (Orr and et.al.,
2020). If the students have knowledge about what is expected from them and also if they have
any idea related to what their actions will bring consequences, then they are less likely to cause
the problem.
Reaction: Classroom needs to be organized by teachers and also there must be no unnecessary
discussions. Students must not be cluttered and easy to get around in. This will assist teachers in
keeping the focus of students and also it will help them in having appropriate behavior of
students inside the classroom. Teachers also need to have full knowledge about the nature,
abilities and background of students (Managing student’s behaviour in classroom, 2008). They
should know about student’s personalities, so this will assist them in enhancing their decision
making. Teachers also have the responsibility to identify the exact issue faced by students, only
claiming that there behavior is too bad is just too vague and it will not help in overcoming the
issue.
Relevance: If teacher has knowledge about the root of issue then they will be able to solve it and
also can consult guidance counselor (Sueb and et.al., 2020). This will allow them in converting
the inappropriate behavior of students into appropriate one. Teachers also need to respond
positively to the positive behavior of students. In this they can also point out and motivate
through rewards, the good behavior. This can assist them in making sure that students act

appropriately in class room. Teachers for managing the environment of class must make sure that
students are engaged in materials and they must find things interesting about which what they are
learning. A student who is busy learning will most likely to behave inappropriately and will also
help in maintaining the decorum of classroom. Teachers can also research about managing the
classroom and should motivate students to act in rightful way. The article thus has clearly
provided the details about managing inappropriate behavior of students and also by this the
environment of class-room can be better.
