INTRODUCTION
Corporate social responsibility is an essential element for every business which means an
organisation have some number of obligations towards the society which have to get fulfil. There
are many problems arise in a society and an entity have to use various appropriate approaches
through which they can solve them out. By doing this, sustainable objectives and competitive
advantage gain by a company. Government also formulate some number of rules and regulations
through which they can conserve the rights of all people. This report is based on the Four Season
Hotel which is established at Hamilton place, Park Lane London (Boutique Hotels in London,
2017). It is counted as one of a most luxury 5 star hotel with quality number of facilities. In this
assignment company have to set some number of goals and targets which are associated with the
project along with a management plan (Baiden and Price, 2011). Moreover, management have to
divide their number of activities by using appropriate technique. As by using data collection
technique, management have to analyse their appropriate collected data by using suitable
technique. Hence, in case of deviations, authority have to find out the adequate recommendations
which are work as a key in removing barriers.

P1 Aims and objectives of a project
For any organisation it is essential for them to implement CSR in an organisation so that
they can maintain a positive goodwill in front of their users. Management have to use this
concept through which they can easily attract their number of users. Four season hotel is one of
well established small size Hotel in London. They are not able to implement big CSR but they
can help the society in small ways through which their contribution towards social factors get
rises. Authority have to focus on this terminology because many companies do not shoe so much
concern towards society and use all of their resources rapidly without thinking twice. Thus, for
gaining sustainability, management have to work on CSR activity (Bakker and et. al., 2011).

Background of the project:
Sustainability is a process through which all the negative impact get removed from the
business and positive things are going to implement into that. Management have to take this
concept on serious basis through which they can attain their targets in an effective manner. As by

implementing CSR operation into a business, an entity lead to meet with sustainable objectives
and they can gain the competitive advantage from that. Four season hotel have to implement
corporate social responsibility in their business because recently they are not engage in any kind
of such operation which is termed as a barrier in their more and more profit generation capacity.
By applying this technique hotel can gain the competitive advantage through which they can
maintain a brand image in front of their customers. Four season hotel have to implement this
plan so that they can provide benefit to the society as well as work in an effective manner for
upraising the standard of society and many such people who are not able to survive at market
(Beringer, Jonas and Kock, 2013).

For every project it require a plan for executing it in an effective manner. Management
have to take this concept on serious basis through which they can attain their targets in an
effective manner (Chang,Walters and Wills, 2013). Their is some amount of fund investment
include in every project as well as some time and scope with such project is also incorporated
with that. For implementing CSR project effectively, management have to measure all such
things which are associated with the project and have to implement them in an appropriate

manner. Along with that, there are some number of task are necessary for making any successful
project. Cost: Some amount which is going to spent on a project is consider as its cost. Four
season hotel want to implement a small CSR plan and for this they require £10000 as
they are not earning so much profit (Doherty, Ashurst and Peppard, 2012). Scope: It is a opportunity or possibility to do or deal with something. Management have
to measure the benefit which is related with the project. Four season hotel have to
implement CSR activity through which they can attain long term benefit. Time: Every project need some specified time in which it should have to get done. As
firstly, management of Four season have to record some number of days or months in

to define task in an appropriate way and assign resources according to that. It has some number
of benefits through which whole task get done in well defined manner. It just simplify the project
and define the overall scope of project whether it reflect a positive impact or negative on
business. Moreover, it leads to aid in calculate the cost, time and scope of project. It is a process
where deliverables are going to further divide into more and more deliverables and thus whole
project become simple to understand. Four season hotel have to apply this technique in their
business through which they can maximise their efficiency and work in an appropriate manner.
They can divide their project into many smaller pieces and become able to work in a well

Gantt chart: It is a chart which shows the execution of task in an appropriate time frame

responsibility in their action because it leads to aid them in allocate budget as per task. Its main

For every project it is mandatory to divide all task in a well defined manner and attain

have to be used so that management can take a beneficial decision which is helpful for the long

20 respondent so that they can make a valid conclusion. Research design: Any research have three main types and its design is must for every
researcher so that they can take the benefit for such type of investigation. Descriptive,
exploratory and experimental are the three main types of research. For this report
descriptive research is suitable for making a effective conclusion. Research philosophy: Interpretivism philosophy is essential through which a valid
decision can be drawn for presenting research (Pellegrinelli, 2011). Data collection: For collecting the data, there are two main methods are signified which
