1. Introduction
Managing the delivery of water-supply in a remote area is all about to manage the water flow in the
remote areas. Refers to the remote areas, then these are far away from the main city and there are not all
the services are available to the peoples are living in that area. Due to the shortage of the water, the life of
the peoples is stopped and it is easy, not easy to survive in that particular area. For this project lot of
research are done and analysis the of the analysis. Provides the information about the different type of the
key stakeholders and develops the process steps for the development of the project (Pmi, 2018).
For that there are need to develops the Work breakdown structure and the Gantt chart for the analysis of
the working of the project. Analysis of the management plan and develops the traceability matrix for this
project. For managing the schedule there will be the development of the Gantt chart is developed.

This project is all about to provides the supply of water in the remote area. There are need to develops
the project to provides the water supply and need to analyse how the process is carried away. The need of
the project is to develops the system that helps to complete the supply of at the remote area. The business
need of the project is in terms to fulfil the need of the peoples of the remote area and need to creates the
some of the profit by this project.
Figure 1: Project needs
Some of the major need for the project are:
Develops the project that fulfils the need of water supply.
Develops the project that provides the profit.
The project helps to develop the team that can able to handle a variety of project.
This project helps to understand the various conditions of the project.
The background of the project is developing the water supply in the remote station. There is a need to
develop the project to fulfil the requirement of the water in the particular area. some of the major
requirement of the project are:
Need to identify the stakeholders
Need to identify the major areas.

there is a need to develops the team, that has the good efficiency to complete the work and the work.
Some of the common objectives of this project are listed below:
Develops the project that fulfils the supply of the water in the remote area.
Need to find out the stakeholders.
Need to arrange the components that provide the healthy water in the remote area.
Analysis the requirement of the stakeholders.
Other than this the aim of the project is to develops the system and components that fulfil the
requirement of the supply of water. After that develops the components that provide the healthy water
to the remote area.
Figure 2: Developing project
For the development of the project, there is a need to develops the team, after that, there is a need to
develops the project manager for this project. The project manager is the person who is responsible for
the development of the project. The project manager is the person who is responsible for the development
of the project (Sacriver, 2018).

o Refers to the government, then this is the type of the stakeholder, the government are
developing the rules for the organization and for the development of the project. All the
organizations need to follow all the rules and if there any rule is broken, then legal
actions are against towards the organization.
The major requirement of the stakeholders is to get involved in the project and gain the profit
from the project.
Project requirements
Need to establish the system that supplies the water in the remote areas.
Need to develop the plan that required less cost to complete the project.
identifies the key stakeholders.
Develops the plan for the project.
Develops the efficient schedule for the project.
2.3.2 Deliverables
This is something that is related to the outcomes of the project. The outcomes of the project are in terms
to provides the water supplies in the remote area and develops a water management resources at that place
that will be good enough to fulfil all the water requirements of the remote areas. Some of the major
deliverables from the project are listed below:
Water supply to the remote areas.
Develops the relations with the stakeholders.
Develops the teams that have the good coordination with each other.
Time and schedule management.
2.3.3 Inclusions
This is part of the charter that provides the details about the task, items and actions that are included in the
project scope. Some of the common tasks that are related to the project scope are listed below:
Project schedule.
Resource management.
Components of water supply.
Stakeholders.

2.3.4 Exclusions
This is part of the charter that provides the details about the task, items and actions that are not included
in the project scope. Some of the common tasks that are related to the project scope are listed below:
Labours
External risk.
Natural hazards
Unwanted fault in the project.
Failure in the execution phase (project, 2018).
2.3.5 Assumptions
This is most important part of the development of the project. This is the assumptions of the activity that
may be happening in future, this assumption can be based on the knowledge, information about the
current scenario or the experience. Some of the assumptions are taken for the project are listed below:
Kept some of the extra resources to overcome hazards.
Kept some of the stakeholders on hold as per the requirements.
There is always the availability of the extra supplier and resources.
2.3.6 Constraints
this is also the important part of the development of the project. This provides the limitation to the project
resources and provides the limitation to the costing and scheduling of the project. There are two different
type of the constraints are present for the development of the project
Figure 3: Project constraints
Business constraints
This is depending upon the state of the organization or the developer. This is mainly containing the time,
cost and resources of the project.

Technical constraints
This is the part of the system, that is used to apply the constraint over the design of the project. As refers
to the current scenario, then there are need to develop the pipelines that should contain the water to the
remote areas, then there is technical constraint regarding the pressure of the water (Resources, 2016).
2.4. Significant milestones
The milestones in the project management are something related to the achievement of the project. This is
generally developing after the completion of every stage in the project. After the completion of the
milestone, there must be a break or there is a meeting with the team and with the stakeholder to discuss
the next steps of the development process. Some of the common milestones of the project are listed
below:
Milestone 1: Project kick-off
Milestone 2: Planning phase completed
Milestone 3: Analysis phase completed
Milestone 4: Design phase completed
Milestone 5: Implementation phase completed
Milestone 6: Testing phase completed
Milestones 7: Maintenance phase completed
Milestones 8: the whole project is completed.
2.5 Project budget summary
The budget of the project is related or depend upon the schedule of the project and the costing of each
resource. There are different resources are required to develops the project and all the resources have the
different costing as per the time and the duration of the project. Below list done the list of the resources as
per the costing of each resource.
S. No Resource name Cost of resources per hour
1 Business Analysis $60
2 Mechanical engineer $42
3 Electrical engineer $32
4 Civil engineer $65
5 Test engineer $31
6 Supplier $62
7 Technical writer $40
The above shows the list of all the resources and as per the resource, the costing of the project is
depended. One of the other major factors of the costing is the scheduling of the project. As the
development of project duration increases the costing of the project also increases (Planning, 2018).
Refers to the costing of each phase of the project, then the list of each phase of the costing are listed
below:
S. No Resource name Cost of resources per hour
1 Planning phase $ 11,200.00
2 Analysis phase $ 27,240.00

rules and if there any rule is broken, then legal actions are against towards the organization (Bizfluent,
2018).
3. Project management approach
3.1. Project management methodology
For the development of the project, there is need to use the project methodology, there is a different
type of the project methodology are present and all have the different advantages and disadvantages
as per the requirement of the project. For the development of the project. For the development of the
project, there are using the waterfall model.
Figure 5: Waterfall model
The above figure shows the steps of the development of the project by the use of the waterfall model.
This follows the five major steps for the development of the project. Below describe all the stages of the
development of the development of the project.
Requirements:
This is the initial stage of the development of the project. In this phase the working of over the
planning phase of the project, after that need to analysis the all the outcomes in the planning
phase.
In this, there are a need to analysis the stakeholders and the need for the stakeholders.
After the arrange the meeting with the stakeholders and with the team.
Then analysis the need for the requirement of the stakeholders.
Then analysis the schedule and cost of the project.
Develop the cost and then develops the schedule of the project.
Then discuss the cost and schedule of the project, with the team and find out the changes into the
schedule.
