Marketing is an important function for an organization. For
the success of any product, it is essential that it is
communicated to the right people, time, place and way.
They are essential elements of the marketing. Sainsbury is
the company of UK, which is the second largest
supermarket's chain. Company is founded in 1869. The
founder of the company is John James Sainsbury. It is a
retailing industry.
This presentation covers the role of marketing at wider
context and in business environment, the interrelationship
between marketing and other functional unit.

For both types of business, i.e., B2B and B2C, functions of marketing
remain the same. Both the types of business include the same marketing
function, they are relationship with consumers, direct marketing, events,

organizational function. This helps organization in achieving the goal

how your company acts. Basically it defines the experience with your customers

deserving candidates in the budget given and also to look after welfare of employees. The
HR department and marketing department linked with each other and ensures the
vacancies are filled on time.
Marketing and production department: Main function of production department is to
develop new products. The marketing department and production department ensures the
development of new products, which helps min fulfilling the needs and demands of the
consumers.
