INTRODUCTION
Career planning plays an important role in order to attain the objectives of the life. Career
helps in determining the objective of the individual's life which can be done by the primary and
secondary research which the person to determine the advantages and disadvantages of their goal
and also to know that what are the capabilities ones have and what they have to develop in their
life. This report is all about the research of career and according to me I have chosen the carrer
objective in retail sector industry. I have determine that this sector is best for me in accordance to
provide services (Goel and Göktepe-Hultén, 2020). As retail sector industry is the major sector
which provides huge amount of employment opportunities at various positions. It is the industry
which acts as an agent between the wholesalers and the customers in providing goods and
services to the customers. They deals with different kinds of products under the single roof or
separate. They can be like departmental store, grocery store, medical stores and many others
where they buy products from the wholesalers and sell it to the ultimate consumers. This sector
helps in the growth of the economic conditions of the United Kingdom (Worboys, 2017).

Several Trends which are impacting on the retail sector industry.
The retail sector of industry deals with the supply of goods to the customers. They are
providing their services at both platforms either online or offline. There are several trends in
retail sector industry which are as follows: Quick delivery: The company's now a days providing the same day delivery or short time
delivery of their products. This will leads to the satisfy their customers which enhance the
brand image in the market (Ham and Lim, 2017). This attracts the customers and helps
the company to generate revenue easily. Visual Search: the company is now moving from physical stores to the digital stores.
This means company is preparing the online platform so that the customers can access to
their stores from anywhere. Digital Payment modes: The companies are producing the software which are helping
the customers to shop and pay through digital mode. The retail sector industry has
adopted the different modes of payment which are contact less and secure also so that
customers feel free and safe to use it (Jeong and Jyung, 2017).

Employment Opportunities: To satisfy the needs and demand of the customers and to
work with the developed technologies the retail sector of industry has prosed the
employment opportunities to increase the workforce in the organisations so that they can
easily satisfy their customers needs and wants(Huang, Lam and Diamantidaki, 2019).
The above discussion is all about the changes in the retail sector of industry which helped
them to survive in this pandemic situations also. Every organisations ultimate goal is to earn
profits to achieve it they have to satisfy their customers desires in order to attain their own
desires.

When the company heirs any candidates in the retail sector of industry then they analysis
that they have certain skills, knowledges and experience which helps them in justifying their
operations in the organisations (Weber and Truffer, 2017).

Solve the problems: The candidate must have an skills to solve the problems of the
customers and use such strategies in order to provide the solutions or an alternative. This
helps in creating a good image of the company in the market.
Find the needs and wants of the customers: The individuals must aware about the ways
which will be helpful in order to find what their customers wants and the ways by which
the company can satisfy the needs of the customers (Lee, Huang and Ashford, 2018). Leadership skills: The candidate must be the qualities of the leaders so that it will be easy
for them to lead their team. They must use different and effective techniques to motivate
their team in order to achieve personal and common goals of the company.

customers whom the organisation is targeting.

2017). This skills which I posses with me will be helpful in order to conduct my work in the
company. The communication skills will be very helpful in dealing with the customers which
helps them to attract towards the brand.

profession. I posses different qualities which are helpful in filling the criteria of this profile. The

With context to the above report, it can be concluded as the career planning plays an
important role in order to attain individuals goals in life. The retail sector industry provides an
huge number of employment opportunities in the society which leads to the economic growth in
nation. I have chosen marketing management as the career option. The objective of me is to get
an job at the post of Executive manager in the esteemed organisation. I can attain this because I
have the posses the required skills, knowledges and experience in order to satisfy the needs of
