INTRODUCTION
Career development is very essential for the personal and professional development of
the person. This is very essential for the reason that when the person is having a good career path
then this will provide them a direction and will lead in personal and professional development.
The present report will outline the personal analysis and the career action plan for having the
ideal employment. Under this i want to have employment within the field of marketing. I have
currently completed my MBA and have applied in many companies. But recently i have got
information that there is job vacancy in Morrison as marketing planner of the marketing
operations department. Hence, with help of this report i will be analysing myself and will analyse
my skills and traits. In addition to this i will also develop an action plan in order to improve the
skills and necessary knowledge required for the present study.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
With the help of the CW 1 it was evaluated that there are different types of the skills and
knowledge which are essential to be undertaken as the role of the marketing manager within the
retail industry (Szabó-Bálint, 2019). Hence it is very essential for me to conduct my personal in
analysis. This is particularly because of the reason that with help of the personal and analysis I
will be in position to analyse myself and identify my strength and my weakness. in addition to
this I will be in position to identify the market threats and opportunities present for me within the
highly competitive environment. in order to conduct personal analysis I will take help of the swot
analysis. The swot analysis is a tool through which I can identify my strength weakness and
opportunities and threats which are external for me.
Strength
Major strength of mine is that I have good
confidence level. This is particularly because
of the reason that within my last working
experience I was appreciated for my
confidence level. In addition to this I do not
hesitate to while talking to any unknown

On the other hand with help of the personal
analysis I was able to find my major weakness
which was effective collaboration with the
team. I am little weak and collaborating with
the team members and because of this my work

very important and I am good in using this

greater knowledge relating to telemarketing
and other marketing related concepts. This is
the most essential thing for working within the
marketing field because if I will not have
knowledge relating to basic marketing concept
then this will not be my strength but I have that
knowledge.
