Introduction
In order to conduct proper planning and execution of tools which are require for a graduate
student who want to pursue their career in marketing field. This report consist a research on
the basis of personal analysis for the future growth and success. This is somehow related to
the concept of career plan which include proper analysis if the chosen field. This will include
some general trends and their impact on industry (Bilik and et.al., 2020). Further it will
include some skills and knowledge which are required by the companies in order to appoint
any respondent.to complete this research it is very important for the company to work in that
particular area where an individual have deep interest. To complete this research I choose
marketing department in the field of retail industry. To complete this report I am conducting
primary and secondary source of data which is essential for knowing details about the
profession in chosen sector of industry.

General trends which make an impact on the chosen profession
General trends are related to the concept which are helpful for understanding the
value and demand of companies in the chosen field. Marketing profession is one of on-going
profession within chosen industry. Marketing moves as the speed of light which are very
beneficial for the industry and lots of fresher’s who wants to join industry. In the field of
marketing there are several changes are happened which are needed to study for the students
who are going to enter in this specified profession. Some of the techniques are useful for the
company and students in order to pursue their future with high growth and success (The
Ultimate Guide to Marketing Trends in 2020, 2019.). Some of the recent trends are specified
below:
Invent in inbound marketing: as per investing in outbound marketing this seems
hectic for most of business in retail industry. So they are now shifted towards the concept of
inbound marketing concept. With the use of effective tactics it is easy to work in inbound
marketing strategies (Hein and et.al., 2018). The main process which are required for
completing inbound marketing which essentially require for quality, valuable and content.
Which are related to different targeted audience as they are deal according to need.
Turn customer into their biggest promoters: The use of marketing field is somehow old
news. Now today’s world, the most of organisation are use flywheel where they subsequent
focus on the services. As in the world of customers, marketing somehow teach the concept

that their main motive is to impress customer and serve the goods which are demanded by
them. With the help of flywheel it is comes to know that with the help of customer demand
companies can easily work and make growth in their own field (Thomsen, 2017). In retail
industry this is very important to serve and complete customer demand as they are the one for
whom the industry work.
Ephemeral social media marketing: Today’s world this seems very important as it
is the important concept of marketing and work there. This seems easy but to understand the
concept of social media platform like Instagram, Facebook and many more are very difficult.
To work in a marketing filed this is very important for the organisation and their employee to
understand the concept and trend of social media platform within industry.
Integrate artificial intelligence: Artificial intelligence refers to the subset which are
required to teach and understood about human resource. In the daily life of a company in a
market it is very important for them to understand about the concept which are generally high
and related to artificial intelligence concept (Howitt, 2019). This system provide lots of
support within organisation and helpful for understanding the concept of consumers. As it is
helpful in collecting data and analysis them with significant manner.
The skills, knowledge and experience which are required
It is said that marketing job are that which complete the need and demand of customer
by serving their own goods and services to them. But this is also needed to understand that
the marketers should have some deep skills, knowledge and experience in order to work in

and intuition. But now marketing involve, collecting the data, analysis and act on the basis of
huge amount of data. Which are essential for completing basic standards of marketing. Some
of the skills and knowledge are provided below:
Good communication: Marketing is also known as the communication professional,
since it include the communication way to sell their goods or service. Mainly there are two
type of comu7nication which are required to complete the skill for the job of marketing in
retail industry. Sales, storytelling, writing reports developing reports all of these are
beneficial of the society which are helpful when a person has a good communication skill.
Public speaking: when it comes to campaign and starting marketing initiatives,
which are beneficial for company and their employees to work in a significant manner. To
make a good presentation and speak or explain that in front of public is very important skill
for the growth of marketing profession (Maranto and et.al., 2017). Skills which are needed to
work in order to improve public speaking is attention in basic details, conduct a focus group,
proper education and gathering information related to brand equality within market.
Creativity: A person who are working in a marketing profession need to be more
creative and deal with some of exciting ideas to appeal and work. Which are only related to
the targeted audience and demographics top keep the form of old. In the retail industry that
skills which are needed are sensible, brainstorming themes, devising press releases and must
be event planner.
Never stop learning: Marketing is the changing field, as they are related to dynamic
internet and changing customer nature. And behaviour which are related to concept of
changing nature. There are lots of information which are easily available at online platform,
these information are helpful for the workers to respond and change their skills as per the
need of customer or changing environment (Merkle, 2019). So this is important for the
individuals to learn different things and skills time to time. As this will help them to sustain
and retain in marketing field especially in retail industry.
Market knowledge: To work effectively within organisation it is important for the
individuals to having and increasing their knowledge. Which are related to different
marketing concept and trends. With having so much knowledge related to market and their
current trend help the employees to make strong competition. It will further help in attracting
customer and work under different circumstances of retail industry.

Evaluation
Marketing is one of the important source for earning and making a young future. How to
work in the marketing field and able to work in society with open minded is very helpful for
the individual. I am searching marketing field job in a retail industry. With the help of
marketing week website I go through with various jobs profile and choose one of them. this is
the job of e-mail and digital designer field in mole valley farmers. Key roles which are
required by them are make template for digital designs, contact 3rd party through mails.
Create and deliver graphics for different sites and expert for all digital design platform within
organisation for their growth (Merritt and et.al., 2019). Major skills that they are require is
being confident, realistic, and innovative. In addition to that they are demand for some
experience in marketing field which can be drawback for me. But I will try and apply for this
post in order to give an interview in this organisation. Their pay scale in enough good and I
would love to work with them in order to increased my experience and knowledge related to
marketing industry within retail industry.
