INTRODUCTION
Career action plan is a framework which involves preparation of a strong and effective
plan for managing the activities of individual. It consists of the objectives which are to be
achieved by the person after performing actions. The job opportunity on which this report is
prepared is Executive Marketing Manager. It has a wider scope in relation to future growth. It is
an activity which is used by the businesses for advertising its products and enhancing the brand
value of the organisation in the market(Chua, Wasan and Long, 2021). There are various skill
which are required in marketing such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, leadership
skills and problem solving skills. The various areas which of knowledge which are learned from
marketing are accounting, finance, marketing and HR. I need to have these skills to be able to
successfully pursue my career in the field of marketing. The report will discuss the about the
personal analysis which helps in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the individual. This
will help in enhancing the skills which needs improvement. A career action plan is developed for
improving skills in the field of marketing. This report also includes a CV and a linkedIn profile.
MAIN BODY
PERSONAL ANALYSIS:
A Personal analysis provides the insights on the basis of strengths and weaknesses in the
personality. It assists the individual in identifying the upcoming challenges along with the
opportunities that are available around the surroundings. I want to become a marketing manager
and develop my career in the field of marketing. For doing this, I need to have proper knowledge
about all the concepts and theories. The skills which are essential in the marketing are also to be
developed.
STRENGTHS : These are some skills which are my strengths and have helped in achieving my
objectives. These skills are discussed below:
Communication Skills: It is an ability which is used in interacting with each other. It is
used when giving and receiving different kinds of information. It plays a very essential
role in marketing field(Dean, Burke and Shogren, 2022). It has assisted me in building
and developing relationship with the clients. I have also received the benefit of

researching the market, targeting specific groups and understanding the needs of the
customers in the society. I possess good communication skills which has given me
confidence to express my views and opinions in front of my clients.
Problem Solving: It is an skill which is used to find out the solution of any problem
which arises in performance of the task. I have gained detailed knowledge of the subject
which is helping in finding out solutions of the problems. I identifies the problems of the
individuals and give them valuable solution of their issues. I have developed this skill
through deep understanding of the topics and concepts. It has helped in evaluate the
options for providing proper solutions. I have been involved in various competitions of
Jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles which have enhanced this skill.
Interpersonal Skills: This skill is very essential in the field of marketing. I am very good
in adapting to the changes which is a essential skill for every situation. The job of
marketing is not static and it is very dynamic. I have developed attentiveness in my work
which is helping me in in growing my career in this field. I am good in analysing the
situation quickly which gives me advantage in certain areas. The activities which have
helped me in improving this skill are online group collaboration projects, attending
webinars and involvement in problem-solving mysteries.
WEAKNESSES: These are some areas which I need to work on and bring improvement in these
skills. These skills are discussed below:
Leadership Skills: It is a skill that enable a person to properly guide its team
members(Foss, 2021). I need to pay attention for enhancing this skill to be able to lead
my team well. I am not able to provide proper guidance to the followers which affects the
quality of the work. I am poor in collaborating the efforts of the team in one direction so
that the main objective is achieved.
Analytical Skills: It is an very valuable skill which is of great importance in the
marketing. I lack analytical skills which are creating issues for me in properly calculating
the return on investment. I need to develop these skills for getting various opportunities
in life. I am very poor in working with the data which is collected from various sources. I
need to enhance my analytical skills to be able to properly analyse the situation and work
accordingly.

Information Technology Skill: This skill is related to the use of various technology in
the marketing field(Hayden and Osborn, 2020). I am very weak in working with
computers and other technology. I do not know how to use computers properly. I need to
improve my IT skills to perform all my work on computers and other technology
smoothly.
