INTRODUCTION
In the current research marketing profession will be discussed and along with this different skills
and proficiency which are needed within this profession are also highlighted. Profession of
marketing needs higher education and skills in order to manage functions as under this
profession customer contacts are made (Potts, 2020). I am planning to pursue my career in
marketing professional and which i am really to become a marketing assistant. Marketing is
considered as one of the finest field in which talented employees are needed by the organisation
those are able to promote and advertise organisational offering in front of the customers. In the
current time due to adoption of digital technologies the trend of marketing professional has
improved as customers are willing to know regarding product for which they have made their
purchase decision. The major motive behind this report is to highlight those abilities and skills
which are needed by a newly graduate who are willing to pursue their career in marketing field.
The report also includes primary in secondary research in which brings in numbers regarding
marketing field are added. Therefore the research report is going to analyse regarding different
skills and knowledge needed by a newly graduate for pursuing their career in marketing field.

help of technology business environment can be influenced in positive manner. Products of an
organisation are manufactured and sold at different places but with the assistance of marketing
these can be connected with customers before buying decision of customers. Using different
websites marketing is done by the organisation and in terms of traditional marketing magazines
and newspapers are also used (Barrager, 2016). After the introduction of advanced technology
real-time communication can be made by the organisation in order to get connected to the
customers. The technology in marketing includes hi quality camera audio recording and uses of
different devices. These are the technologies which are followed by the organisation in order to
advertise and promote their products and services in front of the customers. The adoption of
advanced technologies has changed the landscape of businesses as global competition and trends
are increasing in continuous manner. Therefore recent graduates are needed to have knowledge
in respect of advanced technologies so that eye catching marketing campaigns can be framed.
Psychology: The other trend within marketing is related with psychology. This is essential
that to have information related with human behaviour and emotions so that purchase decision
can be influenced. Marketing is related with attracting customers and making efforts in terms of
making decisions regarding purchase (Bahr and et. al., 2018). Marketing is related with attracting
