INTRODUCTION
In this report, I have focused on the awareness of knowledge, skills and experience which
required by graduate to enter area of “Marketing” of employment. I also discussed about the
support in future career planning and decision making for graduate of “marketing” field within
retail industry. I will understand about the retail sector UK’s largest employer outside the
enterprise services. As per my opinion, the retail industry employs over 3-million people with
year on year growth, making the significant contributors to UK economy between 2013 and
2020. I have determined that predict to grow by almost 55,000 people whereas majority of
growth expected to be within managerial position (Peters, Blomme and Van Der Heijden, 2019).
In this way, it will identify that how graduate establish their career in term of retail industry. In
personal experience, it is great opportunities for graduate student to enhance their career in
global marketplace. Furthermore, I also combined with personal service in retailing with
convenience of using modern technology. Hence, in order to rise the collection of storing, as a
result it will increase demand of graduates with technical skills.

Retail industry is one of fastest growing organization in global world. it has contributed
to economic growth of different nations. As per derived from retailer which means to break bulk.
It is one of most common part of business that involves selling products and services. In order to
give benefits for individuals or families. In the retail industry, Manager is responsible person for
handling overall business operations and functions (Bridgstock and et.al., 2019). He will make
an effective strategy that support for improving retailer efficiency and performance in global
world. Sometimes, they are defining the timely delivery of goods and fulfil requirement of
consumer. He always maintains the coordination with customer in terms of affordable and
competitive price. instead, graduate student has better career opportunities that will help them
define their own attributes and skills. Graduate student also requires for finding out significant
skills which need to break into certain aspects(Peters, Blomme and Van Der Heijden, 2019).

expectation level which continue evolve. The successful retailer will focus on the modern

handle the business operations and functions. Afterwards, it is to be considered the impact of

on the retail business to capture the opportunities in term of global sourcing, logistics need to be
increasingly flexible.
On the other hand, Advanced technology is leading to cover various classes of consumer
and also divided into specific product as well as services. Retailer need to expand the reach of
supply chain and leverage gain from low-cost nation sourcing (Tang, 2019). It enables for
gaining capabilities and abilities in network optimization, channel control and customer care.
Modern technology will help for establishing communication with customer to identify their
