Marketing refer to the procedure of creating, communicating and delivering the value to
the customers (Kotler, 2021). This report states about the approaches of sales, and also the
components of sales plan. Apart from this, marketing plan is being discussed in this report.

Approaches of business sales and importance of sales plan
Premium sales approach
As per this approach, sales professionals of the company offers a free gift and
promotional item to build excitement among the customers about their products. This approach
is used to attract customers.
Product sales approach
This approach is for selling new product, salesperson have to provide sample and
demonstration to the customer so that they can compare their products with others and buy them.
Network sales approach
In this approach, sales person sell the products with the help of its network. By taking
help of family and friends they sale the product. Apart from this, sales person can use social
media network as well (My, 2019).
Perspective approach
According to this approach, sales person must give perspective to the customers about the
necessary information and option so that they can choose whether they need to buy the product
or not.
Importance of sales plan
The role of sales plan is vital in any business because sales plan provides a brief idea
about the future of the business. Sales plan helps the business to know about the incoming and
outgoings of the business. ASOS always make business plan through which the company may

Not all leads get converted and give business to the sales man but it totally depends on
the efficiency of the sales person how many efforts they put to identify the needs of the
