INTRODUCTION
Skills are a core consideration of an individual which enable and define them differ from
others. It is really essential for an organisation to determine such individual whom have skills
and ability to perform their define duty and responsibility better. Thus, skills need to understand
by a person proper and implement them into their working and operations. This project is based
on marketing manager position for Marks and Spencer whom want to attract more and more
customers with better interaction relationship so that their problems could be resolve. Thus, in
this report certain things will going to include which define about importance of selection
process where all major skills get evaluated in a better frame so that effectiveness and efficiency
could be maintain in working. Along with this, it will also going to define about transferable
skills in relation to diversity.

Personal specification for a marketing manager role
Marketing is a crucial aspect of every business where a marketing manager need to be
more creative and appropriate in frame whom enable and support in making things better with
customer. Thus, it is essential for me to align my abilities with marketing manager aspects so that
feasibility of mine towards gaining such position at Marks and Spencer become possible with
appropriate self-assessment. This enable me to reduce time frame for selection process and
enable in gain such position at largest retail sector business of UK.
A marketing leader is one whom have potential to made innovation in distribution
process so that consumer used to get better products and services. This will result in
defining things suitable in frame. Thus, I have creativity in my mind for which I already
get award of innovation in my college.
Another skill for an adorable marketing manager is signify with technology. A perfect
marketing manager is one whom have converse with technological process so that better
and determined invention at market world could be assess. This skill required to improve
into me just because I sometimes got led down with technology which restrict me to do
something new and appropriate at market world.
A major skill is interaction or can say in terms of marketing is customer concern. A
marketing manager always thing about their customers and users first so that chances of

deviation in sales could be reduce in better frame. This need to understand by me which
enable in order to get better view of users and resolve their issues in better frame. I need
to work on my interaction skills where I could provide rating 5 out of 10. This need to
improve in near future course so that marketing manager position at Marks and Spencer
could be gain.
A good marketing manager is one whom used to focus on making better relationship with
customers, suppliers and all other essential parts of business. This made and enable
company to gain success at market world which further enable in deriving beneficial and
suitable gains in nature. I have a working ability to made good relationship with any one
by influencing them through my communication. This provide me strength and one of a
major ability to get such position of marketing manager at Marks and Spencer.
A marketing manager have to focus on each and every function properly rather than
focusing on an individual aspect. If they solely focus on marketing activity then a person
not going to be more creative and appropriate in frame but an individual also have to gain
some knowledge about finance, sales and operations so that effectiveness and efficiency
could be maintain and manage in working. I have a dual specialisation in marketing and
finance which define and support me to become a leading candidate for this vacant job
position. This enable me to gain such position positively.
All these are define as core skills and abilities which need to be present in an individual for
becoming a marketing manager of Marks and Spencer which enable me to gain better working
options. This will result in defining targets better and appropriate in frame so that effectiveness
and efficiency in working operations could be maintain and manage. This result company to
accomplish their goals as well as teams start working towards right direction by getting
appropriate and suitable pathway. Henceforth, efficiency and effectiveness in working operations
get maintain which enable marketing department of Marks and Spencer to become differ from
others.

Equity and diversity is a major thing which need to maintain and manage by manager of a

theories of working so that better efficacy could be maintain and manage. One of a major aspect
which arise at workplace is associated with inequality which could be deal out by manager
through applying relevant theory and perception. In this aspect Adma Equality theory facilitate
better result in frame which support in balancing employee input and output in frame.
Input is related with an individual working, skills and ability to deal with differ perceptive
situation where as output refer to as benefits, salary etc. All these will enable in providing better
options for an individual so that they could work in a better frame when they gain appropriate
output in context of input. This fact enable them in defining things better so that better working
effectiveness and efficiency could be maintain and manage. Input efforts include about loyalty,
efforts etc. of an individual so that they could maintain and manage working. Along with this,
they have to provide better and appropriate output in frame in terms of salary, incentives, wages
etc. This theory enable managers of marketing to boost morale of each and every employee of a
company so that better working environment could be promoted.
Another thing which need to consider by marketing manager of Marks and Spencer is
related with diversity. There are multiple number of employees working in a company whom
have differ values and culture from each other. Thus, this required to understand by marketing
manager of Marks and Spencer so that they could facilitate effective working environment.
There are certain legislations need to understand by manager which made a vast significance of
such attribute and aspect. All these have to determine properly so that associated issues and
problems with employees get minimise. Henceforth, an effective working environment get
