Workshop 1: What is strategy?
The virtual workshop organised helped me to enhance my understanding and knowledge
regarding the strategy and how it helps the business organisation to smoothly carry out their
activity and achieve desired goals and objectives. The virtual workshop organised helped in to
enhance my learning capabilities which will also help in achieving future career and objectives.
During the workshop I have learned that strategy is the process of determining the goals needed
to be achieved by the organisation and effectively leading them to perform better. I have also
learned that strategy is one of the essential components behind the growth and development of th
e organisation, as it help them to determine the clear path needed to be considered by them in
order to perform better in the marketplace. This virtual workshop conducted was very helpful in
enhancing my learning capacity and enhancing my skills effectively.
Workshop 2: Five forces
The virtual workshop conducted regarding the five forces helped me to enhance my
learning regarding how various factors leads to impacting the profitability and competitive
advantage of the organisation. This work shop helped me to enhance my learning regarding the
various five forces available in the marketplace. This overall workshop was useful in improving
my knowledge which will further help me in my career development. From the second
workshop I have developed various kind of skills which are helpful for generating new ideas
and basic concepts about the major challenges. It helps in analysing the data and make effective
strategies to compare the market position and values of the company at significant level. I have
gained different factors that are helpful for industry and how to boost the profitability within the
organisation.
These two workshops are able to generate deep understanding about the project which
are useful for analysing challenge and make strategies related to internal and external factors. I
analyse that these two terms are interconnected to each other as it will be able to analyse
systematic growth in managing strategies and apply to the porter's five forces in external
markets.

Views about strategy:
The Marketing strategic view point has change as it has resulted into a complete
transformation in the process of promotion activities in the organisation.
In the present scenario there has been new skill and knowledge that is acquired by the candidate
that is related with increasing my digital analytical skills. There has been application of
theoretical concept in practise which has resulted into improvement in my present
communication skills.
New skills or knowledge have you developed as a result of the Applied Project:
I have learnt various verbal and non verbal communication methods for the purpose of
enhancement of my present level of competence. This is going to led towards future formulation
of marketing strategy. Apart from this I have also learnt various skill sets that are related with
team collaboration where team working skills have been enhanced. There is emphasis on
learning ways for the purpose of reducing various conflicts that may arise in this process.
key take-away or learnings have you received from the Applied Project:
In the present scenario there is development of detail overview about the way the
customer segmentation is taking place and the way there is strategy formulation that is related
with understanding of the target market and the way customers segmentation can be done. Apart
from this it has helped in the process of understanding the way organisation are developing their
target base of customers, based on it further market position is created which can help in the
process of enhancing the present market scenario.
Concepts/ ideas developed in Marketing Strategy:
The major concepts of idea and development is helpful for generalising the statement and
make effective marketing strategies to analyse systematic work and approach to the future
trends. These marketing strategies are helpful for the students who are working at professional
life and especially in marketing field. It is analyse to manage systematic review and provide in
the real world. I have analyse systematic work and make major trends related to growth and
development in management within the company and become the asset for them.
