INTRODUCTION
Marketing is a major term which play a crucial role in the development of a business by
increasing the sale of a product. It is crucial role of marketing management in a business to
support the development of a business in order to increase revenue and profitability. The
business organisation should put a regular focus on marketing in order to gain desired success at
the marketing (Deepak, and Jeyakumar, 2019). In this report various dimensions of marketing
are covered along with application of precise marketing strategy. In this report example of
Pakistani children festival is taken into consideration which was held in Karachi. This report will
focus on marketing plan and functions of marketing management to develop business decision
related to marketing.

Theme, carnival, audience and activities
Theme- The main theme of this festival is Children and Joy.
Carnival- Carnival will be organised in the heart of Karachi with a major theme, children
and joy. The carnival will include children and their parents to celebrate joy of living in
different aspects. This whole carnival will perform advertising and publicity on major
media platforms which are developed by different individuals. Carnival will include food
and games stalls which will attract large number of customers.
Audience- The target audience for this festival will be children from the age of 4 to 12. In order
to immense growth at the marketplace, this carnival will have major services of its target
audience. In order to develop major functions in the marketplace, this is also major focus
of carnival to include marketing management. The major audience of this carnival will
have fun with different activities and functions related to children (Hua, 2019). Children
and parents should also include application of a business plan to develop major marketing
objectives. In the children's festival there will be nominal charge for entry.
Activities and fun- The carnival will have a lot of activities and fun in order to develop different
game shows at the marketplace. The show will have a major magic show which will
include famous magician in order to delight children. The carnival will also include
Berger, Pizza, Pasta and Ice-cream. In order to increase satisfaction of the target
audience, this business will apply appropriate framework to develop and provide quality
food. The carnival will also include different software and general games which will
provide prizes and gift hampers to target audience (Iacobucci, 2021). The carnival will
also include live music and the host will be Justin Timberlake, who is favourite of kids.
There will be a live concert which will create a friendly environment for the business to
proceed at the marketplace with major development. There will be large number of
swings on affordable rates for the children which will also include Ferris wheel as a
major attraction.

The marketing strategy is a major and professional approach which is used by a business
entity to develop focused approach on marketing operations (Visconti, Peñaloza, and Toulouse,
2020). The marketing strategy of a business is well dedicated and systematic approach for a
company to develop major operations. The marketing strategy of carnival will include:
Promotion- Promotion of a company's product is important in order to advertise for it
products. The carnival will perform publicity and advertisement on television and radio
as they are major source of marketing (Lepkowska-White, Parsons, and Berg, 2019).
Promotion is a major development of a business entity in order to briefly perform
advertisement of different products. This is the major responsibility of a business to
develop promotion of a product in order to gain competitive advantage.
Marketing campaign- The carnival will also organise marketing campaigns in different
countries for long term development of business. Marketing campaign will be organised
by a business to include application of large number of audience for carnival growth
(Samoggia, Bertazzoli, and Ruggeri, 2019). The business entity will also organise
different marketing campaign. Marketing campaign will include promotion on various
platforms that are watched by kids.
Marketing blogs- About the carnival, there will be various blogs on internet in order to
develop effective content. Marketing blogs are essential to be developed by a business in
order to gain a key competency edge. This helps in also explaining in details to internet
users, for attending the festivals.
Competition analysis- In order to successfully identify competition, it is essential to
analyse competition using effective approach. The competition is analysed by marketing
management of carnival using, Porter's five forces analysis and PESTLE in order to
analyse the external environment. The competition analysis is a major tool used by a
company for long term and sustainable growth. Competition strategy should be prepared
by marketing staff of a company in order to analyse marketing goals and objectives.
Social media marketing- In this field there are advertisements which are served to users
on social media sites or platforms. Users usually serve the advertisement to users on the
basis of their interaction with specific social media platforms. Social media marketing is

the ads on twitter, Instagram, Facebook, you tube which can be a photo ad, video ad,
story ad and message ads (Park, 2020). There are some steps to build an creative
advertising strategy on social media firstly company has to find what to sell like if
company advertises the most valuable product it can boost up it's value. Secondly
researching the audience is a important part in advertising by getting the reviews by the
audience , knowing by the search keywords of users, thirdly, by using a creative platform
where users spend more time like Instagram, snap chat, Facebook etc.

professional approach prepared by marketing management in order to gain competitive
advantage. This project concludes the importance of marketing staff in a business entity to
majorly focus on different business objectives. All the major companies in the business
marketplace focus on different strategies in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency. It is
major responsibility of an event to focus on marketing management in order to develop at the
