INTRODUCTION
Marketing strategy is Long term planning approach for an organisation as well as
forward looking which help in achieving goals and objective of business. This assignment is
based on Sight Service organisation which is founded in 1996. Respective company provide
constant support to visually-impaired people in Gateshead as well as South Tyne-side. This
assist particular person in living their live independently. Services offering by Sight Service
organisation are social activities, training program, health and wellbeing. Below mention
report is going to conduct audit for respective company in respect of marketing strategy.
Along with this, SS is voluntary sector company so audit will be conducted for UK same
sector. In the end, recommendation will be given on the basis of marketing plan by
considering financial increments.
MAIN BODY
1. Audit of Sight services current marketing strategies
Marketing strategy is that which combine all the marketing goals of company into one
single comprehensive plan. For designing good marketing strategy there is requirement of
focusing on product mix and have to conduct proper market research. So that, profit will be
maximise and organisation will sustain in market area for long duration. In simple term it
can be said that, marketing strategy is the foundation of marketing plan. Every organisation
have their marketing strategy same as Sight Service also have for identifying this there is
requirement of conducting audit.
Non-profit organisations must promote their causes as well as objectives to potential
donors or volunteers. There is requirement of well planned marketing strategy because it will
assist them in building awareness and ignite the passion of public. Although, it will outline
how Sight Services will effectually convert their mission and goals into other incite viable
action on its behalf. Sight service company marketing Strategy are as follows :-
Identify target market – It is the work of marketing team to identify the target market
which is demographic of the non-profit target volunteer as well as donor market area.
Along with this, determine general characteristics like median age, education level,
income, marital status, leisure activities and so on. After having knowledge about all

speaks to interested parties on their terms. Without identifying target market it is not
possible to continue framing marketing strategy.
