PART 2
Reflective Form
1) What did you learn about your preferred style of working within a team?
I learned that individuals have different styles of working in team and my preferred style
for working in team is logical style of working. Logical style of working entails data and
discussion and decisions are taken on the basis of logic.
2) What skills did you have to utilise to ensure the tasks were completed successfully?
In order to complete task successfully and on time styles that I utilised included time
management skills and planning skills (Shum and et.al., 2017). This was to ensure that every
element of task is given adequate time and along with this time management enabled to complete
tasks on time.
3) What skills/traits did you use to work within the team, and to what extent do you think it was a
success?
I used team working skills and communication skills along with interpersonal skills and i
believe that all these traits and skills were successful to a great extent.
4) How did you/the team communicate; was it effective?
Communications mainly were face to face communication and in some cases
communication was over phone. All the time communication was very effective.
5) Was there any conflict within the team, and if so, how did you resolve it?
Few small conflicts were there within team and they were solved through efforts of those
who were not involved in conflict and team leader also played important role in resolving
conflict. A simple approach to resolving conflict was adopted and conflict was solved in a win-
win approach for all involved in conflict.
6) What might you do differently in future team-based tasks/activities?
In future regarding team-based activity something that can be done different is that all
members are given task on the basis of their strength and ability to perform task (Chan, Wong
and Luo, 2020). This saves all the time that is involved in developing skill and learning about
task.
