REFLECTION
We are four members in a group to make a presentation on marketing principles and
communication in digital world. It involves several tasks including collecting appropriate data,
analysing the gathered information, select key points and make an effective presentation to the
present the same in proper manner. My group is required to present a seminar discussion among
board of director. So, for that we have take different tasks responsibility in terms of completing
the same in correct manner with mutual understanding. In context of making presentation, we
have distributed tasks between us so that every individual can put their efforts towards their work
and try to make it perfect through gathering correct information to influence board of directors
by the discussion. We have analysed about role of accurate marketing principles and
communication to improve proficiency & ability of an organisation to increase more profit share
respectively. I have task a task to manage overall work and other three members have role to
gathering information, implement innovation and prepare effective presentation. They apply
appropriate innovative approach to make presentation more influencing but there is a lack of data
about few relevant aspects.
We have done our respective tasks with proper responsibility and try to maintain mutual
understanding but sometimes few conflicts occurred which generated problems while preparing
an appropriate presentation. The best thing in our group is that each member take responsibility
of their own tasks and complete the same in desired way which facilitate to reduce risk of
problems in whole work. In addition to this, effective communication provide support to
maintain proper co-operation as well as coordination so that we complete the presentation
through collecting desired facts or information. I have analysed that the tasks should be allocated
as per field of expertise as it is beneficial for team member as well as facilitate to gain maximum
outcomes perfectly. However, if problems take place then they can easily sort out them on their
levels due to having clear concepts or proper knowledge. Moreover, I have role to manage
overall activities and work along with ensuring perfection in prepared presentation and initiate
the same among board of directors to influence them effectively. At the other hand, gathering
information about the topic and evaluating its benefits facilitate to gain our own knowledge level
which may supports in future to conduct relevant aspects. There is a lack of confidence in team
members while participating in the discussion which impacts on effectiveness of presentation
among board of directors. It include the problem of improper communication skills which is

responsible for reduced confidence that effects on effectiveness of information gathered by hard
work.
In order to make seminar report, I have taken responsibility of manage overall aspects
and ensuring effectiveness of project. It has made a strategy to allocate different tasks as per field
of expertise so that team members feel comfortable to perform their work and create maximum
outcomes. Meanwhile, it is also helpful for the team because I am having basic knowledge and
clear concepts. Thus, it provide support to group members for solving sudden occurring issues or
problems immediately. In addition to this, I have adopt a strategy to check performance as
regular basis in terms of evaluating threats so that they can sort out them. However, I felt that it
is necessary to help my group members in their tasks and provide proper guidance to gain better
outcomes. It is essential for me to take correct decisions regarding several tasks so that I prefer to
discuss my views of about particular choice and ask for their suggestions also. Moreover, it is
helpful for me to gain number of alternative choices to select the best one which is favourable for
presentation. I have tried to gain more authentic information and put efforts to make an effective
presentation with help of group by generating factor of mutual understanding and reducing
conflicts to achieve desired results respectively.
At the other hand, my group members are very cooperative with me and never deny to
perform tasks allocated to them along with completing the same in proper manner. It is very
important to maintain better cooperation as well as coordination among them by communicating
about every important aspect to avoid problems occurring due to miscommunication. In addition
to this, our group had conducted market analysis including product description, needs of
customers, relevant issues & opportunities and trends. It involves segmentation, targeting,
positioning and marketing mix including product, pricing strategy, promotional techniques and
place i.e. sales and distribution accordingly. Additionally, segmentation, target group of clients
and unique selling proposition to gain better outcomes of company in digital world. Moreover,
we have conducted gathering of desired information and analyse their effectiveness regarding
marketing principle and communication in respect of preparing correct presentation. However,
sometimes several conflicts and issues were created because of different thoughts or mind sets of
them but I have solve problems by making conversation to convey importance of mutual
understanding through avoid conflicts. It will facilitate to sort out issues and further results into
correct communication among them but the main effective point is that my group members of

obeying my instructions accurately. They ask for their doubts to me by sharing their own
opinions about particular fact or information and understand my views to follow desired
guidelines. Moreover, group members are really cooperative and follow my instructions by
conducting their tasks which facilitate gain perfection in work and make presentation more
effective among board of directors. Additionally, I have provide chance to everyone for
participating in discussion and give credit for appropriate presentation to all of them for their
precious efforts.
In addition to this, the study on marketing principles and communication will provide
support to analyse every relevant aspect and their importance in business. It will provide support
to conduct related activities or tasks in future in order to gain appropriate results. However, I
have evaluated effective marketing principles and techniques for effectively communication
along with their respective benefits in organisation. Moreover, I have analysed few of threats in
our performance which make me learn about certain aspects considered as helpful to reduce
chance of problems that facilitate to conduct similar seminar presentation in future accurately.
Meanwhile, it is well known that previous work provide experience and improve skills or
abilities in perform the same project in future appropriately without any threat or problem. At the
other hand, I have learnt many things about team management as it provide help to conduct
proper management at higher level professionally in future. Furthermore, I have learnt to
understand views of other team members and the make correct decision which is favourable for
attaining desired outcomes. Finally, I have gain experience of managing team and completing
tasks with their cooperation to complete desired targets with better results.
