Tourism is the activity which is concerned to the
travelling of the people and the experience they
get from it. Tourism activities shows the cultural
and heritage aspects of any particular region. It
has been analysed that heritage and cultural
tourism plays a crucial role in the effective
development of the United Kingdom economy.
With the development in the tourism sector there
is growth in the GDP rate of UK through the
efforts made by the government to grow more
tourism activities. Government is well aware of
the fact that this sector can give lots of jobs
opportunities so they are taking the work on
serious note. UNESCO is also working on
developing the heritage and cultural aspects
effectively in UK. It is the body who has special
rights to take certain actions in this. Through
various programs in which awareness about the
heritage is given through education, natural
sciences, social and human sciences, culture and
communication.
The GDP saw a rise of 12% and this sector has been successful in
creating approx. twenty million job to the population. It has been
observed that visitors in current are more focused on the Museum
Stone Age. Tourism segment of London has lot of opportunities
which can give them variety of benefits whether monetary and non

factors through which they can preserve the national resources. 3D

historic importance. Through taking the international scenario it is
seen that the visitors are more attracted towards the destination
which are enriched in culture and heritage sites.

situations. They know that visitors are interested in operations which gives detail exploration related to monuments, natural heritage,

the sector. Various companies who are acting as travel
agents are growing their business which is contributing
in the work culture of tourism segment.
