specialist in the quality clothing, home appliance and food product. This success they get from
some of their function which helps to promote, manage. Produce and finance. Without those
function such as Marketing, finance, operation and human resource. They have different
different roles in the company but all are interrelated with each other.
Marketing
Marketing is one of the necessary function for the Marks and Spencer because it helps to
promote their product in the market by using marketing tools. Function of the marketing is to
convene customers buy their product through advertisement on the Social media, TV
advertisement etc (DOES MARKETING RELATE TO FINANCE? “MARKETING IS
FINANCE?” THEORETICAL PERCEPTION. 2014). Marketing team not only advertise, but
they are also responsible to research the market. They have to research the market and provide
information to the company about the market according to that company take decision about the
expansion in the particular market.
Finance
Finance play important role for the Marks and Spencer company because they provide
financial resources to the every other department of the company, so they can run their functions
properly. Without having finance Marks and Spencer company cannot be successful in their
business. They have to find proper resources of the finance from the market, some of the
resources are bank, public finance etc. they arrange the finance from the market and provide
them to the other department of the organization (Garson., 2017). They have to make proper
budget for the every department and destitute according to the need to run organizational
activities. They also ensure that company is utilizing financial resources properly or not
otherwise it affect on the profitability of the Marks and Spencer company. Proper utilization
enable them to achieve their goals and company can take competitive advantages.
Operational department
The operations department of a Marks and Spencer is answerable for smooth and gainful
