approximately £10,698.2 million in 2018 and employed around 80,787 employees. The report
will describe the differences between the concepts of leadership and management and
differences among the two. It will analyse the trait theory of leadership that helps to identify the
personality traits of effective leadership. The report also explains about the leadership
development programs that are implemented by retail business organisation in order to bring
improvements in the leadership behaviours and attitudes. Furthermore, it mainly focus on
leadership development aspect of selected program of Marks & Spencer.
