The organizational culture of Marriott is based on the values of employee development

excellence. In consideration of the various dimensions of the organizational culture the
organization is firstly very high in the dimension of people, it is a people oriented organization
that provides much importance to the people that are engaged with it. Secondly, the organization
is greatly innovative and change oriented. It is constantly striving for a developed and more
innovative business model. The third aspect that is very important in view of the organization is
stability. It is important that the organization is stable. Hence, the organization focuses on
aspects like business ethics, goodwill and relationship development.
Origin of the culture of the company
The origin of the values of the company is the developed leadership that is focuses on
constantly striving for development. The company is well balanced and wants to develop their
business by actually keeping their employees first. They are more long term oriented in their
values and want to develop their business in better and more effective ways. The company’s
value originate from the innovative developmental paths that it has taken to succeed over the
years. The company was develop on the values of good food and good service at reasonable
