Reflection
The customer experience management is important for any business the responsibility of
the manager is to gather the information related to the customers and manage them according to
their need and demand. The main objective behind this is to evaluate the views and opinions of
customers towards the Marriott hotel and its services. Furthermore, I contributed to choosing an
appropriate template on which I can creatively present my ideas. In this respect, I also evaluated
data from different books and journals for the effective evaluation of each information. From the
presentation I come to know how to deliver the information and facts which helped in bringing
my unique personality. Moreover, it has helped in improving my written as well as oral
communication skills. By taking part in this project, I analysed that hospitality is one of the
fastest-growing industries and this industry serves customers with their desired hospitality
services. Width of the hospitality industry includes hotels, pubs, restaurants, travel and tourism,
lodging, and so on. By analysing different sources, I evaluated that Hospitality is 4th biggest
player in the UK which provides a huge contribution to the development of economy. They serve
food and beverages, accommodation, conveyance, drinks, games and many more to their
customers. According to me, global growth has a direct impact on the hospitality industry
because it helps in expanding the structure of tourism. Economic impacts of tourism
development are usually held to balance tourism economic benefits effectively. The main
objective of this sector is to provide required services to customer by analysing their
requirements and needs. Hospitality is one of the fastest growing industry and it creates several
opportunities for many people thus, it grabs my interest in this. In this presentation, my friends,
my professors and my family members backed me with their support and through this, I
completed my project. Through this presentation, I come to learn that skill development is very
important which helps in accomplishing future goals and objectives. These kinds of practices
help me in developing my future career prospects to develop myself as a professional thinker.
The major areas that I need to improve in my practicing career are based on my learning
practices. Therefore, I need to pay my maximum attention to such.
In the process of preparing the above presentation, I learned various lessons. One of the
major skills that I developed is communication skills. This presentation is focusing on learning
knowledge and theories related to the different skill sets that will be required to satisfy
customers. During this presentation, I understood that to satisfy customers, the marketer must
establish good relations with targeted customers. To develop good relations, I need to have
analytical capabilities that will help me understand the needs and wants of customers.
Furthermore, as a manager, I need to have clear coordination with my employees too, so that I
can direct them in right direction.
Overall I can state that through this presentation, I have learned so many things in the
context of the hospitality industry, such as, how to manage customer experience by providing
them appropriate services with aim of improving the profitability of company.
