this, it is also refers to the systematic process of evaluating the vacant position and at the same
time also hiring the suitable employee, develop their skills and expertise to match their position.
This can be beneficial in retaining them for longer period of time that encourage them to attain
long term business objectives in allotted period of time (Bratton and Watson, 2018). For
attaining the same, it is important for business organisation to provide proper direction to
employee that make them capable to attainment their targets in an appropriate way. This will
directly contributes in maximising the profitability level and also sustain in market for longer
period of time. Current project is based on Marriott hotel, is an American multinational
diversified hospitality organisation that includes franchise a broad portfolio of hotels in over the
work. This project is going to discuss about project management plan along with this
effectiveness for delivering the best outcomes. Different methods of research is also discussed
that used to gather relevant data towards the research topic. In addition to his, proper findings
and recommendations is also mentioned in this project that contributes in drawing a valid
conclusion at the end of the project.

P2 Project management plan
Project management plan refers to the formal document that provide overview of the
project and also define that how a project is carried out. With the help of this,project manager
can easily communicate with project team in order to attainment of all the set objectives in
stipulated time frame. There are different aspects that used in making an effective project are as
follows:
Cost: It is one of the important element in which project manager is responsible for
keeping enough fund to execute project activities in an effective way (D’Annunzio-
Green, 2018). For completing current project, manager required around £150 that
includes different expenses like stationary, travel, internet charges and many more.
Quality: At the time of producing the project, quality standards play a significant role as
project manager is responsible for implementing all the specific standards. This can be
beneficial in managing the overall quality of the project and at the same time also provide
authentic outcomes within the project.
Scope: Current project include wider scope because it includes different strategies that
can be used by company with the aim of attracting and retaining employee for long
duration. In relation to this, project manager play a fundamental role in maintaining the
specified boundaries and desires to produce an appropriate outcomes. With the help of
this, project objectives can be easily attained.
Communication: It is significant for project manager to communicate with all the
stakeholders who are involve in current project (Gupta, 2019). In this, manager of the
project share all the necessary information about the project topic so that they can easily
attain their set objectives and at the same time also make overall project more successful.

Work breakdown structure: It is consider as an effective deliverable oriented hierarchical
decomposition that used to manage project activities. Mainly, it executed by project team with
the aim of accomplishing the project objectives (Maurya and Agarwal, 2018). Along with this, it
is refers to the proper project planning, execution, controlling, monitoring and reporting each and
every activities that develop a successful project. With the help of this, project manager can
easily divide larger project into smaller project so they they can get things done more faster and
more effectively.
Gantt chart: In execution of project, it is refers to the bar chart that include overall
schedule of the project. As it provide direction to investigator in undertaking project activities in
an effective manner. In this, the activities are divided on the basis of set time period so that
employees can not face the issues in completing the project effectively.

information with the aim of addressing specified research issues. In this regards, there are some
effective methods that can be implement by research in order to undertake overall study in an
effective way. This is the reason that, researcher is responsible for selecting an appropriate and
right method so that valid and reliable conclusion can be easily drawn. For meeting project aims
and objectives there are some research methods which applied by investigator are as follows:
Primary method: It is refers to the data that collected by investigator directly from the
respondents. As collected data is original in nature that contributes in drawing a valid conclusion
at the end of investigation (McCusker and Gunaydin, 2015). Along with this, it includes different
sources such as questionnaire, survey, observation, interview and many more to collect primary
information about the specified topic.
Secondary method: It is also consider as an effective method of collecting data in which
information is collected through different sources which is already published. As books, journal,
articles, magazines and so on are the major sources for acquiring in-depth analysis on the basis
of research topic.

applied (Miller and et. al ., 2012). As primary method help in preparing questionnaire and other

Qualitative research method: This type of method includes the compilation and analysis
of non-numerical data in order to clarify views and concepts. This can be beneficial for
researcher to obtain in-depth analysis of the problem or generate new research ideas. This helps
an investigator to consider emotions and behaviour of selected respondents on the basis of
particular topic and area as well. The approach of qualitative research is designed to help expose
the understanding and behaviour of the target group in relation to particular subjects.
Quantitative research method: This is the primary collection method in which numerical
data is frequently analysed. This can be used to make forecasts and generalise the findings to
larger audiences on the basis of research area. The primary aim of quantitative research is to
define relationships within the population between one variable and another one. In context to
this, the primary purpose of quantitative method is to gathering and generalising numerical data
through individuals or identifying particular phenomena. This is a problem of producing
numerical data that has been translated into operable statistical data.
In order to undertake current research project, quantitative research method will be used
that create information and establish social understanding about the research area. It is based on
the calculated value and reviewed because for the analysis of expression, the numerical data is
minimally accessible. This approach produces reliable and authentic outcomes and efficiently
obtains positive results within the research activities.
Research sampling: At the time of undertaking an investigation, it is important to select
right sample size so that appropriate data can be easily collected. It can be classified into two
