INTRODUCTION
The main purpose behind writing Reflective writing is to provide a reflective thinking
about the incident or situation a person has faced. The reflective writing is written by taking a
look at various events which has been happened in past. The reflective writing is written by
having a deep thinking on the different activities and experiencing which the person has been
gone through in the past(Reflective writing, 2019). Reflective writing helps an individual to
critically think about the event including its positive as well as negative experience, including
the various challenges which the person has faced during the activities. It helps an individual to
know the skill which he is in weak at or to know on which area they should work. With the help
of reflective writing a person can set target to overcome their weakness. It also helps in
analysing their learning in order to use it in future. The report has been prepared on the
reflective writing. In order to write the report Gibbs model has been used. Reflective writing is
based on what good and bad experience has student has gone through in the MBA course special
emphasis is laid on the difficulty which an individual face with the various subjects of MBA
course.

Description :
I am about to complete my degree in MBA, the course has provide me a bulk of
knowledge. It helps me to enhance my theoretical as well as practical knowledge regarding how
business operates. The course is taught by an professional. Many students has also been come in
order to take the degree in MBA.
Feeling :
As I have choosen to do the course of MBA. I have various thoughts in my mind. Before
the starting of course I think that the course was going to be easy but it was not so. As the day
passes it seem difficult. Mentally I was not prepared to deal with such situation as the course
requires a hours of hard work. Daily the students have to take part in various activities performed
in course. The course demands the great knowledge about the different industries and business. I
feel that this course helps in enhancing the personality of an individual. This course helps student
to know better about the important factors which is essential to manage the business properly. It
is an professional course which lay emphasis on making an individual an efficient leaders.

Evaluation :
As all the subjects in the course I are knew therefore I feel difficulty in understanding the
subject first but after attending few lectures and gaining the basic knowledge of the subject. The
subjects starts to seem interesting to me. The subjects which has been taught is very interesting
as it is related to business environment and I love to learn new things therefore I spend too much
time on exploring new things related to business such as I read books and journals about
business.
For me I think the various subjects which has been taught comes out with a positive
result. I have learned my new things and also the course has helps me to improve personality.
The most worst experience during this course is working with new people every time. As I does
not get easily comfortable with new people therefore every time a new team is made I find it
difficult for me to work with the new personalities.
The best part is that working with different personalities help me to enhance my
personalities and has also help me with improving my communication skills. My classmates are
very supportive as they help me and try to motivate me in every situation.
Analysis :
Generally we have to perform task in group. Every subject teachers in every semester
assign us a task which we have to complete and present it in front of class. We have to work with
new members each and every time the task is assigned. We are not allowed to form groups of our
own. The difficult part is that we have to work with new type of personalities every time which
demands to create a better understanding in few times with team members.
I have learned many new subjects such as Dynamic leadership ,Business communication,
People and Teams, Marketing, System thinking, financial management, Strategic management
these subjects has helped me in understanding many new things which I don't know before. As I
love to learn new things therefore after every lecture I used to make my notes for study and also
spend my most of the time in library in order to have more knowledge of my subjects. I used to
read business papers and books which help me to learn new things.
The subjects which was taught in the MBA course has add up to greater knowledge. The
various subjects which is taught in MBA course does not only give you theoretical knowledge
but it also provides a huge practical knowledge too. The subjects like dynamic leadership has
been useful in understanding the that how through interpersonal skills such as self awareness and

self management one can develop the ability to lead. The subject give opportunity to perform
with group, this group exercise perform an opportunity to help the people to learn qualities of
leader which will help them in the future. This subject has helped me to enhance my leadership
skills. The various exercises and projects which was given to us has helped me to learn how to
work in a team. The several projects has been assigned to us which helps us in enhancing an
experience and taking the more practical view of subjects.
Business communication subject has helped me to understand how important is the
communication skill. As communication is essential in almost every business. The subject helped
me to enhance my communication skills. The various projects which was assigned to us in this
subject has helped me to enhance my communication skills and also it helps me to learn the
etiquettes and manner which is needed in a professional line. I have also learned about the
various strategies which should be used in order to make business successful. Such as
negotiation skills, people skills, presentation skills, team building skills and communication
skills.
The most difficult subject for me in the MBA course is financial management. The
subject includes the calculation which has proved hard for me. This subject requires a lengthy
calculation in order to value the financial assets which is to be used for business and to invest in
various projects. But the subject has helped me to enhance my knowledge on how the assets are
allocated and how the fund can be raised for the business. The subject has helped me to look at
things more analytically. I know have better understanding of how to work and take decision
analytically. I have also learned how to use various software for financial analysis such as SAP,
SQL etc.
One of my favourite subject in the whole course is strategic management. I have learned
about the various business strategies which can be used in order to make the business successful.
The subject helps in understanding the various concepts and framework of strategy. The various
projects which has assigned to us helps in with the critical thinking. The subject helps to enhance
the knowledge regarding how to think logically and critically. I have learned the skill of
decision-making. Now I take more correct decision by doing proper analysis of problem and
applying logical thinking in order to solve the problem.
Marketing subject is quite an interesting subject in may view point. The subject helps me
in understanding the course of actions which can be taken in order to promote product and

services in the market. I have learned an marketing skills. The subject has helped me in properly
using my skills in order to promote the products and services. I have enhanced my negotiation
and marketing skills. The projects or task which was given to us help me in understanding the
application of various marketing strategies. I have learned many new things from this subject
such as marketing tactics to be used in promoting product, how to analyse the market and what
steps should be used in the marketing planning process etc.
System thinking is one of the most important subject in the entire course as it helps to
understand the different parts of system and understand the situation in order to make correct
decision. I have learned many things from the subject such as how important it is for any
business to monitor each part of system including its employees, management, equipment,
capital and product. It helps me with developing new ways of thinking as earlier I face many
difficulty in solving the problem the reason behind this is that I get panic while I stucked in any
situation but as I have study the subject and perform various task in the college which has helped
me to solve complex problem or to find a new way in order to solve the problem.
CONCLUSION :
I think the more things I should have done in my course differently. I should have been
more confident in fronts of others from the first day. I should ask the teachers about my query
because generally I avoid asking queries directly to teachers instead I ask from my classmates. If
I have asked it to teacher I have gain the deeper knowledge of my problem and also this could
have helped me in maintaining good relation with my teachers. I should have performed my task
with more sincerity so which will be proved me helpful in the future. However, the incident has
helped me to realize that how important it is to built relations with others such as teachers, my
classmates, my juniors and seniors.
Now I will carefully look at this point I will try to maintain good relation with the people
with whom I will interact. I will try to ask my queries with my seniors and try to maintain a
healthy relation with them. As maintaining healthy relation with subordinates make the work
environment more comfortable and it also helps in gaining knowledge with different type of
people. Communicating with other people of different personalities also help in building the
confidence level. I will try to communicate with many people as I can it will help me to improve
my confidence level.

The various subjects which I have learned will also help in the future. I have gained many
theoretical as well as practical knowledge of various subjects along with gaining knowledge of
their implementation in different work areas and in personal life too. The knowledge which I
have gained from different subjects will be of great use in the future.
As I have faced problem in the subject of finance management because I feel difficulty in
doing calculation I will try to improve my technical skills which will help me in future to do
financial analysis using various software. I will focus on my mathematics and team working
skills. As I have failed difficulty in working in a team but in various corporate organisation or in
any work environment it becomes necessary to work in a group. Therefore, I will try to adapt the
situation and becomes cooperative and supportive in order to work with others. I will also try to
build positive attitude within myself. As earlier I feel fear of asking my queries with my teacher
now I will try to build positive attitude towards it and try to avoid my negative thinking about
consequences.
Action plan :
As an student I have faced many challenges and problems while pursuing MBA. Such as
difficulty in working in a team, asking queries to teachers, difficulty with the subject finance
management etc. Therefore I have decided to come up with my problem of working in a team
and dealing with work related to finance. In order to overcome with this problem I have created a
plan which will help me to overcome with this problem :
In order to expand my knowledge in finance subject I have decided to enrol myself in finance
management related course which will help me to deal with the finance related work. I will
choose the finance course which will help me in future with the job. I will search the best course
through websites, through visiting local institutes etc. After searching for best institute I will
select the best institute which best suited as per my needs. I will do the course which has the time
duration of three months.
After the successful completion of my plan in order to see that whether I have achieved
my objectives or not I will try to indulge in finance related work which will help me to identify
that whether I am eligible to deal with such finance related problems or not. I will try my best to
not repeat the same mistakes which I have done earlier.
This action plan will help me to deal with finance related problem if ever occurred in
future. Secondly as I have problem with working in a team therefore I will try to communicate

with more people which will help me to build confidence and also help me to come up with
problem of working in a team. I will try to indulge myself in such activities which will help me
to interact with people of different personalities. This type of activities will help me to become
confident and will help me with my problem of working in a team(Tips to build team work skills,
2019).
I will try to increase my knowledge related to various subjects as the subjects which has
been taught is of great use in the business world. Therefore I will try to enhance my knowledge
related to the subject. As I have learned various marketing strategies, leadership skill,
communication skills, time management skills and system management skills which I will try to
implement in my work environment whenever necessary. As these learning are of great use in
the corporate world.
CONCLUSION
The report has helped in analysing the learnings which has been gained by studying
different subjects of MBA. It helps in analysing the skills which a person posses and also to work
on skills in which a person is weak. Reflective writing which has been used in the study helps in
analysing the situation which a person has experienced. It helps the person to know about its area
of weakness and to work on it. A person look back at whole process and tries to identify its key
challenges and set target in order to overcome with these challenges if the same situation is
experienced in future.
