INTRODUCTION
Present report is based upon my initial statement of intent and become aware of my own
thinking and the way in which it could be used to describe, evaluate and analyse learning
experience.
MAIN BODY
Definition of business
Business could be defined as an enterprise which is engaged in industrial, professional
and commercial activities. In other words it could be described as the efforts that are highly
organised and the activities of individuals to sell products and services for generating profits. It is
an economic system in which facilities and goods are exchanged for money or one another.
Apart from this, if an enterprise is engaged in commercial, industrial or charitable activities then
it will be known as a business (Bennett, 2017).
Reason for choosing the course MBA
There are various reasons due to which I choose MBA profession. All of them are listed
below:
 I chose MBA because it may result in a high salary potential
 With Master in Business Administration I will be able to become an entrepreneur in the
future.
 An MBA can provide better career opportunities so I chose this course to meet my career
goal which is getting a senior management post within an organisation in future.
Past experience in the area of management
I have experience in the area of management because while studying in the university to
complete the bachelors I took part in inter college events. I worked as a volunteer in these events
where I was responsible to manage the team which was working on inviting other students. Apart
from this, in one of the events I worked as team leader for the auditorium where I was
responsible to make sure that all the arrangements of seating for the guests. I felt very satisfied
working as a leader and it inspired me to look to this leadership in the future. I performed all my
jobs properly to assure the proper management within the event (Tucker and Scully, 2020).

Past experience prepared for the course or not
My past experience of working in the area of management prepared me for the course as I
analysed that I am good at managing people as well as activities because I feel comfortable
around people. Apart from this, when I was working as team leader or manager in the events I
gained positive as well as negative experience that guided me to develop my management skills.
In one of the events I was working as leader where I managed my whole team and I performed
my job properly as supervised all the team members properly. With the help of it, I prepared for
course which is Masters of Business Administration.
The way in which it could be ensured that required outcomes of the course are met
The key required outcomes of MBA are to demonstrate that the individuals having
knowledge of management science to resolve complex corporate problems with the help of
limited resources and identification and assessment of management related issues. Apart from
this, one of the main required outcome of the course is identifying business opportunities in
competitive environment. In order to ensure that all of them are met I take effective participation
in class room activities. Apart from this, I also work on key skills that are required for a person
pursuing MBA (Lee-Ross, 2017). These are problem solving, innovative thinking, teamwork,
leadership.
Actions to be taken to manage and monitor the studies to a successful conclusion
In order to manage and monitor the studies to a successful conclusion I take following
actions:
 I prioritize all my Project so that I can manage by study to a successful conclusion.
 Difference types of useful resources including online as well as offline resources are used
by me to monitor the study of MBA to a conclusion.
 I joined a study group in which all the students study together so that all of us can discuss
all our academic problems and find solution for the same.
The way in which studies could be applied in later life
I will be an entrepreneur in future.. I will be able to develop idea of my business and grab
the opportunities that are available within the market. The studies could also be applied by me in
future to manage individuals as well as whole organisation when operating my own business.

The kind of goals that will be set with regards to the course of MBA
The goals that will be set with regards to MBA are as follows:
 Join a top management consulting firm so that I can gain experience of working within an
organisation.
 Formulate an innovative and attractive business plan and establish own business in
upcoming years.
 Boosting networking abilities so that a good personal network could be developed which
will help me to aware people about the business which will be established by me in
future.
 Becoming expert in the field of management so that my skills to manage my own
business could be improved (Steffen and MJ, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it could be concluded that for all the individuals it is very
important to make sure that I are focused with writing their initial statement of intent properly as
it can help them to be focused with their goals and enhance skills to perform academic tasks. I
came into the MBA from a small amount of experience with leadership of people. But enough to
be inspired to be a business person. I have a passion to gain more skill which will assist me in
this goal of leading a business. I will be able to enhance possibility of attaining all the desired
goals.
